Seattle is the only "city" I've ever liked.

Driving across North/South Dakota on I-90 or I-94 is creepy, speaking of middle of nowhere.

You know what's creepy? Driving through New Jersey at night with ALL those truck convoys. I've literally almost been ran off the road before by one of them. In the early morning, there is seriously nothing on the highway at all except for semi trucks.

Aye, the 3rd would love to have any and all Assault pilots! That way if the other companies need the heavy hitters, we can extort them for more mead!

I've been a few times. About all I've seen is LA, though I did get up to the Santa Cruz (I think, was ages ago) area once.

I suppose California must be nicer outside of the cities, cause I sure didn't see the appeal.

I lived in the People's Republic of California for awhile. Just about the only thing agreeable is the weather.

I've been OVER California. Which is about as close as I generally like being to it.

Having been through most of the US, I can honestly say that the heavily urbanized areas really, truly, do suck. A lot of the rural areas are nice, but when you get down to RURAL there is usually no inbetween. You've got uber developed and then you got middle of nowhere. I've lived in both and they can both suck. Middle of nowhere can be tens of miles from ANYTHING in some points in the US. A lot of people simply overlook just how vast this country is.

That being said, I would love to visit Iceland and Sweden sometime. My dream is to move to Trollhattan. Possibly work for Saab.

Have you ever been to Salt Lake City Utah? it is kind of imbetween I think. Somewhat of a city, but with lots of open spaces around and incide it.

Same here, I think it was all of the green and trees dispersed throughout the city, reminded me enough of home to forget that it is a big city.

I'm teeeeeempted to say I prefer Rasalhague over the Lyrans, but I'm not entirely too sure about the viking theme if there won't be an Axman.

Give me a history lesson here, from what I understand the FRR has access to the Mauler, Zeus and Panther, but not the Wolfhound? Because I mean... I really do like Wolfhounds, for lights, when I otherwise would use a Centurion.

More importantly, can I paint my 'mech purple?

That was always my guess as well. All that green, right on the highway, broke up the "city" so well. Didn't feel like an endless stretch of humanity.

From a non-MWO standpoint of history or the game-history? Because in MWO we can use anything and everything.

From a Battletech history point of view, we've got all your "standards", with a heavy dose of all things Kurita. Wolfhound would probably be a pretty big rarity.

As far as painting, it would be NICE for our guys to all use a standard scheme when doing Conquest. No clue what the paint/camo system will be though. I could see purple working as an accent color.

I've flown over it, but I've never actually been IN Utah.

Been IN every single state in the US (yes, including Alaska, Hawaii, and the dreaded CAli...its actually not bad, so long as it's a visit).

Lots of cool places to go and see...yeah I'm sure Europe is great and I would love to go there...but the US has a little bit of everything too. :P
