Well, stats is the one that tells you whether it's insanity or not. So yeah it's pretty important, if you are trying to figure out something, which is important if we're looking at how things are balanced in a game.

the stats dont account for the years of disconnect problems.. Or crash to desktop.. OR the months inbetween hotfix's when thing where broken... you cant statistically analyze something when the math formulation your using is incomplete : anyone who has been here since day one knows.. (and there are not that many of us left)

I had two games with him yesterday, that he's childishly up on my face with what I said on the forum, how because I'm better than him that I should have won -- obviously not how stats work, but in those two games I'm actually doing better than him.

None of these things are META and not one of them would make it into a Top Tier META List. They are suitable for less maps than they are suited for & I still still crank out 1000dmg games with 2-4 kills on something like Polar. Hell I've produced so many 1000k games on Polar in Brawlers it makes me wonder exactly how that's even possible.

I play all server times aside from peak EU as I really cannot stand the playstyle. I wouldn't say any timezone is better or worse than another though. I see EmP / 228 and many other high level comp players and notable players in NA Peak/Off Peak and Oceanic Peak/Off Peak. Some matches you get rolled with 200 match score no matter what one does. Others you spew out a out a 1500dmg domination/carry with 700 match score and thus - you have a 400+ average over a season - no matter the players on either side.

You can watch me on stream - I am aiming CT or open torsos, weak points on mechs wherever possible to affect a win. That is what good players do and you get the numbers to back it up. There is no deliberate farming. If I was - I would be sticking AMS on every mech I could etc.

The whole "The top tier just farm score" is mostly unfounded. ESP when you can watch a number of Top Tier live on twitch and they are doing none of what is farming. Winning is always the priority.

Yes you are right. You will allways have a 1000+ dmg high matchscore game with most mechs. But how often is that happen ing compared to a meta mech+build? You allways have the outliners but don`t sell them as the norm. I had my first 1000+dmg match (after to sidetorso distruction gives no more arm dmg bonus change) on polar with a brawler. Does that mean i should vote for polar everytime i field a brawler? If it would be only skill why care about meta, builds, consumables or anything but skill. Why even bother with grimmechs if it is only skill? I hope you know that your statement "its just skills" is a bit offside to your in general indept knowledge of the game.
I bet your viewers could come up with a list of "excellent" mechs +builds without consumables to drop your avarage matchscore in your streams no matter your skills. You can try it if you like to prove the obvious, but it would be a waste of your stream time. Even though it would be funnier than ever to watch your temper going wild game after game and the smile when you finaly cracked the 500 match score with a 2sl Spider...

I was not refering to you or any one specific. Assuming that all top tier players farm match score is complete nonsense. But that doesn`t mean that a lot of top players do not care about their ranking/avarage matchscore and choose their actions accordingly. Thats why they are in the top bracket in the first place. Why seal clubbing, to an extent sync dropping and all the effort if it makes no difference? Why do so many top players use the team as meatshields in QP and not leading the push if it is all only about winning?

I know that you are not a dedicated match score farmer on your streams because since i heard your commentary in tournaments i check out your stream from time to time. I really enjoy watching you play! Great combination of skill and an entertaining sense of humour. Keep it up!
