Here is a list with all dps-datas of Mwo-weapons: https://mwo.smurfy-net.de/equipment and in the mechlab you can see the dps of your builds, good old smurfy-lab! Posted Image

Note, Smurfy's gets some of its DPS values wrong.

Light Gauss - DPS is actually 2.58; Smurfy failed to factor in the charge time on this one, which adds 0.5 seconds to the total cycle time (cooldown + charge time).

Heavy Gauss, same issue as Light Gauss; DPS is actually 4.35 and not 5.00, since there's a 0.75 second charge time to add onto the 5 second cooldown.

cAC/5 through cAC/20; Smurfy doesn't count the 0.11 seconds between each shell in the volley, so the DPS is actually less than indicated since the cooldown does not begin until the last round exits the weapon. So, a cUAC/10 fires 3 rounds at a time, separated by 0.11 seconds each; total DPS is 10 over (2.25+0.22) = 4.05 vs. the 4.44 Smurfy is indicating. Note, this also applies to UACs (including IS UAC/10 and 20) when fired on their cycle instead of double-tapped.

Not sure, but MRMs, ATMs, and Clan LRMs might also fail to factor in the stream time.

Use Smurfy’s Mechlab. It does this all for you. DPS will be shown on the left-hand pane.

Smurfy calculations are wrong, though.

Use MechDB instead.

That's really my question. Both are useful in different ways...why did they choose the one over the other or why not show both?

Simple answer... 3 letters... starts with P. Can you guess the rest?
