lol. what is even funnier is that Clanners don't like attacking all the time. Takes more B**** for that.

Imagine if PGI created a player choice where you could play as something called a mercenary that allowed you to switch sides when sides are unbalanced.Honestly I think its a great idea.Maybe we should suggest it next time Russ is on his forums for his game talking openly, honestly and directly to the customer and not at all "tweeting" like a teenage girl or a Trump about islands and how nobody understands his vision.

All the requests for the flip flopping is what originally killed the Loyalist and FP in the first place. With the game not having any benefits to staying behind one team, group or even faction for that matter, no one saw a reason to stick around and keep playing.
Quick Play is where you get quick choices like a duel and that is not true warfare imo.

called this during and even before the pts. pgi didn't think it was an issue.
fp has actually always had this problem, but with free side switching it was kind of solvable by the players themselves.
heres what you do. have end of story rewards. to get them you must play a set number (say 5-10) games during the story, and there are participation and victory prizes, possibly prizes for people who do a large number of drops. you are allowed to switch sides but you forfeit those prizes. you still get your per game cbill, xp, and rp/lp rewards.
you could also just allow mercs and freelancers (which should all be merged into mercs btw) to switch sides, of course paying a jump fee, maybe half a million cbills to do so, perhaps discounted when there is a huge disparity.
