REMEMBER THE FALLEN EVENT

Over the years we've had MechWarriors pass on. Some were friends, some were family, and some we knew through the internet. All were loved. This event serves a chance to honor MechWarriors we have lost in the spirit of Memorial Day weekend in the States.

For some reason the theme "Rembering the fallen" and the challenges requiring kills doesn't sit right with me...

Is it just me or does that seam a bit of a faux par?

Was almost expecting event for the MW5 preorder 'Mechs too, guess that's what I get for hoping...

Yeah i struggled with that one. Hopefully it's not to out of line in a video game.

Talked with CSR about this one I will do an event when the MC and C-Bill versions are available.
Some folks who pre-ordered didn't get all the Mechs and I didn't want it to be a negative thing.

Double XP is being pushed to next weekend. As it needs to be tested in all modes. (trying to avoid any more issues)

Any possibility of bringing an XP conversion and/or GXP with MC promotion when such a thing hits? For that XP trifecta?

It's a tactical-shooter combat based video game . . . I'd expect any event in a combat based game to involve combat.

As for this American disabled combat veteran, I'll speak for myself and say you're fine. In fact, I think some MWO will be a nice way to spend some time over the weekend before I remember my fallen friends and comrades-in-arms on Monday.

Colors! Say what you want about PGI, but they hear my the people's needs and deliver! Very well rounded event with obtainable goals.

Also thank you to any veterans who may read this. No matter what country you may have served for, it takes a lot of bravery to serve in the armed forces. Hopefully (while almost impossible) someday we can all just get along and resolve our problems via mech warrior

May I suggest bringing back Sarah's Jenner to be on sale for this event? Where the proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society? Seems appropriate that we remember our own.

It's been many years and it'd be good for the newer players to know who Sarah is
