Bishop,

That is about the most moronic response imaginable to US Memorial Day. So, I can only assume as a non-American you just don’t understand it. It’s not a day the US celebrates past wars or US foreign policy. It’s a day for the US to reflect on and mourn the human COST of past decisions made (right or wrong). If you are anti-US making war.....you should encourage more of such reflection on the part of the US (so the US government would maybe show a bit more restraint in the future). One would think even the most anti-US parts of the world would want the US to focus more on the human costs of war. The truly stupid part of Memorial Day is it’s commericalization...but that’s just everything nowadays. It’s a long weekend in the US, so US players will probably be active.....so I get why PGI did this event and don’t begrudge them for doing it.

Well you defined the level of politness.

Morons. Take down your pink US glasses. I wrote my comment as diplomatic as i could. USA are not the saviours of the world, you are not the good guys, not the white knights of freedom. If you think so, well you said it already.

But its ok, we are used to US arrogance for decades now. Go on Cowboy!

The U.S. memorial day is just like our remembrance day. To remember and honor our fallen soldiers. Most of which died fighting in World War 1 and 2.

Piranha games is Canadian. I think it is a nice gesture to hold an event for America's memorial day... I can't remeber if they did an event for remembrance day.

Seems all those starving people are putting up a fight.Good thing Trump can sell more weapons to the country that has Sharia law and where most of the9/11 crew came from/But that's ok because they have oil and are your allies. And your winning the war on the border real well!!! They managed to kill 3 kids and a teen(?) so far for zero losses..what an awesome place.

Yes this event is incredibly offensive and PGI clearly forgot the age of offendedness we live. The malice behind the event is quite clear. Do your part and boycott the event and don't accept any of the rewards and in fact just don't even play.

There's a saying that goes like this: "Love the soldier; hate the war."

Yes, most of the wars going on today are ultimately not being fought for "liberation" or "democracy." But the soldiers taking part in those wars are not the ones at fault for this. The ones who are at fault for starting these regime change wars are the military-industrial complex and the politicians who they donate millions of dollars to, not to mention the pro-war corporate media that smears anti-war voices as "isolationists" or other similarly stupid accusations.

The soldiers are the ones who are paying the heaviest price for the greed of the MIC. Place the blame where it actually belongs: the ruling class.

For those who would tell me I'm wrong, or to offer harsh criticism of my opinion, (expletive deleted) you. I served, and I think it appropriate to respect the memory of those military personnel who were lost, on the one day a year set aside for them.

Statements like this always annoy me.
You're basically saying you have the right to state your OPINION and no one else does.
Do you even know what you served for?

How the hell has this devolved into blaming countries now? When you get together with your friends and family to remember a loved one, you share the jokes, you share anecdotes, you share a drink, you shed a tear, laugh out loud and just celebrate the life lost. It's the same here. We play MWO 'cause we like it, despite NASCAR-mania. The event is about piloting big, stompy robots to have a good time, or try to at least, while those who have lost someone dear, will have their private or shared space to remember the good times.

THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT!

Now get off your pseudo-moralistic high ground. It isn't enough growing old. You need to grow up as well. Inject some intelligence into yourselves for goodness sake. It's about time.

The refugee crisis is the direct result of the Syrian Civil War, which the US did not start and which NATO's indecisiveness in ending it directly contributed to its expansion. Fun fact: the major EU powers of France, UK, and Germany are directly involved.

Who has the pink glasses on? Please go back to bumming around your apartment and downing those cigarettes while you seathe in anger at your social systems being taken advantage of by people you low-key think have not put their dues in to benefit from so generously and stop commenting on things you know nothing about.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA.

sToP cOmMeNtInG tHiNgS YoU kNoW nOtHiNg AbOuT.

Because Europe, bahaha, Europe is not servant of the USA? Without UN-Mandat Germany cant do nothing and its fact that we are breaking international law with our Tornados scouting for US Drone Attacks. But we have no choice, USA gave order.

Fun Fact: We still have no peace treaty with US, we are still an occupied country. Ramstein base is the biggest US base outside of USA in the whole world. You know who pays it? Right. https://en.wikipedia...mstein_Air_Base

Our government dont want atom bombs in Germany, but we are an occupied country, we dont have the choice. So your atom bombs are based in Germany, your Drones are starting from Ramstein. The german people and the government dont want that, but we cant do anything. Strange isnt it?? And you force us to serve the Anti-Isis-coaltion to spread more death in middle east.

And Syria Crisis is like Lybia, Afghanistan, Irak. You started war there for american business and the point that you even dont know that and even saying to me "sToP cOmMeNtInG tHiNgS YoU kNoW nOtHiNg AbOuT." just shows how bad informed you are.

Before USA bombed Lybia it was the African country with highest life standard, now it is destroyed and islamistic groups are on charge.
https://www.foreignp...a-intervention/
https://www.washingt...-benghazi-rebe/

Irak and Hussein. You really belive your story of mass destruction weapons? Also 1st Golf war was a lie
https://billmoyers.c...ed-on-a-pack-of

I could go on and show you the whole hybris of you guys.

If you want to "celebrate" your killing stuff do it, but open threads where you are all showing how proud you are to participate in your american business wars.

And when a foreigner like me DARES to speak to you in a polite manner to show you concerns from other parts of the world you are going mad with insulting.

Think about bois, the world is not yours and you are offending other people. I wished the american warfare economic would be different, right now, like in the last 2 decades, there are dying people from US weapons.

CELEBRATE
