Here is the missing home thread for one of the invading clans. The unpopular Steel Vipers. Known that they always go their own paths. They aren't wardens, but they also aren't crusaders. The Serpents have some feuds with other clans (Jade Falcons, Ghost Bears, Snow Ravens, Blood Spirits and Fire Mandrills).

This topic is dedicated for Steel Viper clansmen (18 votes in the "which invading clan would you join"-topic ). Talk about your clan, views, touman, mechs or whatever you want.

Maybe they are shy and afraid of us mocking crusaders. But they also dislike the wardens. Let them "cook their own soup". (Good ol german adage! )

If they want to tell something, they will come out of their pit...

I actually ran CSV in MW4 for a couple years. *sigh* memories...

My fav mech is the Raven though...LOVE the thing... so debating about being Capellan just for it

It's a shame the Vipers get pushed off in a corner and neglected all the time.

I'm considering gunning under their colours if I get the opportunity, the number spread among the predators needs to be evened out a bit! The more factions and groups that have healthy populations the better.

Haha that is exactly why I chose the Vipers back in the day... I have a thing for underdogs.

I don't know, been reading the Wars of Reaving sourcebook and it turns out they are not very nice to their fellow Clanners. Pretty mean actually, definitly do not play well with others.

Not to mention that Ulric also merged the Nova Cats with the Smoke Jaguars into the invasion force...the Jade Falcons eventually (i believe) pushed out ALL the Steel Vipers out of their Occupation Zone.

I've always had a soft spot for the Sharks, Foxes, or whatever they call themselves nowadays.

It's a shame thery killed us of in the Reaving War but we did go out with a bang and take a few with us and chucking the Falcons out was a laugh. It's just a shame we always seem to be led by short sighted looneys like Brett Andrews and before him Mercer and even before her Ellie Kinnison.
There's also that habit of getting really close to winning everything then screwing up at the very last moment due to having the wrong person in charge.
You'd think our better sibko training would do a better job of screening those people out.

So maybe its time for a viper to make a post. I think the reason this clan isnt so popular is because of its history and we do tend to be the shy guy in the cornor and nearly all of our kahns have been selfish and short shighted, do to this the clan has never realy sided with worden or crusader. However if the game plays out like i think it will we should be able to make our own history. But then again i may just be the only viper posting in forums ATM.
