I don't know what the next set of Mechs on the planning board are, but my heart would soar if we could finally get the Ostroc.
This Mech has been a long time favorite of mine, plus it has multiple variants as well as a suitable Hero Mech piloted by Michi Noketsuna.
I recently paid to have updated images drawn for this Mech and the final product is so much better than I even expected. The style of the artist is very similar to Alex Iglesias's.
I am posting the pictures here in the hope it will inspire the MWO team to consider this as one of the next Mechs to be done for the game.

That is absolutely amazing.

Like you, the Ostroc is one of my favorite mechs and I have long hoped it would be added to MWO/MW5.

Your rendition is excellent and I would buy this mech pack in an instant.

Yes, absolutely brilliant work.
By the way, that's no MKII Ostroc, as the MKII sports dual SRM2 in the sidetorsi. That's an Ostwar hybrid.

Well I'm very old school. I fell in love with the Ostroc from the Twentieth Century Imports model kits, which were just repackaging of Macross and Dougram models. In the Marauder / Ostroc pack, they called it the Ostroc Mk II, which is now considered non-canon, but it will always be my favorite version.

Doesn't make sense, the Quickdraw can mount the same weapons.

NICE work. It would be kind of OP with all the high mounts that are clustered together, and the good hitboxes that typically come with humanoid shaped mechs

That can be said of almost any mech/chassis of each class so that statement is irrelevant.

A Quickdraw is not an Ostroc. And while I absolutely love what MWO did for the Quickdraw, I'd still like to drive an Ostroc.

The statement is factually incorrect anyway. There is neither a Quickdraw in game with ECM like the OSR-4L, nor one with 4 Energy HP and 4 Missile HP like the OSR-4C (pre HP inflation).

Of course, we could get new Quickdraw variants, including one with ECM, but I still prefer the Ostroc.

Maybe but Humptey Alexander Dumpty Style doesn't fit the BattleTech style exactly.
