The World Championship was gripping stuff. We need more of these kind of tournies so we plebs can watch and learn from the pros. My suggestion is to have a tournament between nations. It's always interesting to see where the players all come from, and some of these real good players come from all over the globe! It doesn't have to be a world championship where time zones will make it impossible for some players. How about nations competing for continental honours.Asian countries vs Asian countries, European vs European and so forth. It would be interesting to see the best of the Singaporeans up against the best of the Ausies, and Russians against the Brits! Americans...... hmmmmm against the Canadians?

There are player-run leagues going on regularly that you can tune into and watch. Head over to r/OutreachHPG on Reddit, a thread for whatever the current tournament is is usually stickied at the top.
They used to split up by region, but nowadays there are too few players to do that so it's mixed.
