After 2 times getting the Automated Penalty system you get benched for a few minutes. Pesonally I think they could write the code to tell if your partitpation problem was due to a game chrash.

I hate that I am being penalized for their bad code.

Or when a storm causes the pc to lose power or the internet goes 'nope' with a connection. I've been booted from the game during the loading into a match, had to reboot the game and try and rejoin the match.

While we wait for the penalty system to probably never be changed in any way, something you can do to get rid of most MWO crashes is to play the game in full window rather than full screen (if you haven't done this already).

When they type in all chat "You f***ing h**kers" and DCs after losing one mech in FP, it's not a connection issue

most dcs/afks are from poor stability on low end hardware, extreme wait times, infuriating gameplay (exasperated by the previous 2). all that is made worse by low populations, and also leads to a decreasing of population. all the bad aspects of the game feed on eachother and make things worse.
