I hope it's not single life - if one ends up having to sit out matches because your group is going on 20 minutes past the time you got dropped one is likely to get bored and go do something else. What would be more fun is when you eject you have to work your way back to a base, on foot, and get into a backup mech or something like that. Or you could find a hiding place, pop a rescue beacon, and do a death penalty THAT way.

With the latest Dev info, I think we can assume there will be no respawns, and the rules of Information Warfare would probably prohibit global kill messages because that would give away who exactly on the opponent's team is still alive on the field.

There shouldn't be auto messages, but manual ones should be allowed subject to the information warfare mechanics.

Only thing from either of my perspectives that I would like would be no (tab) info at the start, having them added as they die or are detected would be nice. Other than that, no just crippling random players which most will be in basic battles. The other suggestions would be nice in guild battles and house matches but they will be the minority of games.

From everything they've said so far it would seem that they are intending to start the game with the "Campaign" games being the main part of play.
