UPDATE for FP LFG #2:
I was just reminded that the R3 comp is the weekend of the 3rd. Rather then split the pop or delay any farther, the next FP LFG event is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th 2019 at 2000 UTC (3PM Central, 10PM Germany, 6AM AEST). With the earlier NA start, we can try to keep the ball rolling for long enough to allow our ANZAC friends to join on Sunday morning.

Hi All,
In light of recent changes to FP and in response to many posts here and in outreach complaining about the high barrier to entry for FP, MS is going to be holding FP LFG nights at least twice each month on off-peak nights in NA primetime. On these nights, we will open comms (mercstar.teamspeak3.com - no pw) to all comers and form groups with no more than 6 MS regulars. The groups will be filled from the LFG. Our intention is to provide a few nights each month where players new to FP (or whose units may not be actively dropping) can experience FP as intended - with a 12-man all of whom are on comms.
We believe that we can run at least two of these groups simultaneously and with the changes to FP, we can run one on each side of the conflict, if needed. We'd love it of other FP-regular units would join us in this effort.
Our priorities for these drops will be fun, then training, then winning - in that order. These will be low-salt drops. We welcome players of any skill level as long as they agree to the following conditions:
- They will join comms on TeamSpeak or Discord
- They will follow the calls to the best of their ability
- They will bring mechs that are at least minimally optimized and they will bring trial mechs if they don’t have a viable build for the map/mode. These will be discussed prior to the drop – hence the need for joining on comms.
- They will not criticize the builds, skillset, or play of any other player or behave in any way that is disruptive to the purpose of the drops.
- Once the team drops, they will refrain from discussion of calls, tactics, positioning, etc, until after the match.

The first MS FP LFG night will be on July 17, 2019. We should have a group or two up and running by 9 PM Eastern.
Again, MS teamspeak is mercstar.teamspeak3.com. Our unit homepage with some drop deck and build suggestions is http://mercstar.net. We also recommend that everyone, especially new FP players, take a look at https://grimmechs.isengrim.org/ for excellent build advice.
