Your analogy is invalid. Consent has nothing to do with whether or not you are supporting something. If you buy an unreal game you are directly supporting epic and their technology. You're wrong.

You're still butt hurt about that? Lol.
I never said you have Aspergers. I likened you to Sheldon Cooper, for being unable to perceive the possibility of being wrong.

Lol. Just lol. No proof nor explanation, nothing. Just assertions.

Unlike you, I have enough social skills to not get butthurt on the internet.

Yes, you have enough social skills. Enjoy.

That's just basically tax. You don't necessarily support your government just because everything can be tax deductable.
You don't have any real choice but to pay your taxes. Doing otherwise harms you physically and financially.
You have a choice about whether to support Epic by buying games they have a stake in. There are so many games out there that have nothing to do with Epic that there is no sound argument that can be made equating supporting Epic via UE royalties to unavoidable (*insert rich people joke*) living expenses like taxes.
So, yes. You buying games that run on Unreal Engine is very much the same concept as buying a game from Epic itself.

Well, you don't have a real choice but to pay the royalties, else you won't be able to play the game that you want. What makes you think that it's not harming you to not do what you want in the world?
Well you can pirate the game, but you'd be also hurting the developers who doesn't necessarily part of the problem. Also possible viruses.

No. That's an unfair and biased way to make a connection, you single out games and developers, it's incredibly petty.
You might as well blame crime victims. Just no.

No. That's just an unfortunate tax to enjoy the game some other, better people, did.

UE is a legitimately good product while EGS (in my opinion) is not. And EGS wouldn't even rustle my jimmies if it wasn't for their exclusivity deals. As such, I don't need Epic to go belly up, I just need their exclusivity deals to not pay off for them.

We went from the Unreal Engine being the Savior of MWO2 for many months, to suddenly Unreal Engine being the Devil Incarnate.

I honestly don't even get how these people made a connection like that.

It doesn't matter if you think its a good product.
If you by an unreal engine game you are directly supporting epic.

Yes, and as I said, I don't have much of an issue with that.
They're getting exclusivity deals to further EGS' market share. If that doesn't work out - e,g, all it does it cost them money - they'll eventually stop getting exclusivity deals. This whole thing only works as long as it makes people jump ship to get the exclusives. No ship jumping = no payoff.
