Seriously, PGI must have seen this sh*t storm coming a mile away. How could they not?
And for real, i would be less annoyed if any of these companies that took these exclusivity deals, at the very least, were willing to HONOUR their previous commitments.
How hard would it be to say to epic, " Look, we will do your deal, but we have X amount of people that have already bought this game for X platform. we will honour that agreement."

They're giving you a refund and you get to keep all your mwo swag.

I know, but not the point now really is it?
Prior commitments are a thing.
Mind you, my own fault for pre-ordering. The one and only time I've ever done it, and this happens.

Russ said over discord last night that they knew they were going into the furnace for this.. MW5 better be on god-mode in the end.

"Oh, I'm going to the special hell." - Russ, PGI
And the company you made the deal with is a fine and upstanding company, right?

I pre-ordered one thing in my entire life and that was Sword art online Fatall Bullet just 24 hours before release.
They had an option to get a free game with it if you did that so I did.
Bandai also didn't pull a fast one.

Okay going to ask a question because i have never dealt with exclusive game or epic at all, so here it goes.
Since i have purchased the game do i now have to repurchase it from epic and do a refund to get my first order money back. really confused , i know it a stupid question but i have really never had this occur before.
Can anyone give me a answer.

If you preordered the game and don't mind it being on epic do nothing.
If you preordered the game and want it on any other platform when it comes out on other platforms ask for a refund.
You get to keep your MWO swag regardless.

Actually no. If you pre-ordered any package that isn't the base-price package, still file for a refund because you can keep your MWO swag and pay less for MW5 itself when it comes out.

Is it guaranteed that we will have to go through Epic if we already bought the pre-order, or will PGI provide a download/launcher for it themselves? That seems to be the only sticking point for me. I could see hanging onto my pre-order if PGI provides the portal.
