to react to all this?

an interesting approach you got there;
people are upset. if for the right or the wrong reasons - it totally doesn't matter. people will still be angry, no matter how many threads you delete/move/whatever.

how about some interaction and reasoning instead of trying to keep things quiet? cause it hasn't worked in the past for you and quite frankly: you've heard of the "internet an stuff"?
good luck keeping other forums quiet, then Posted Image

I was really on the fence about a refund, as I srsly want mw5 and mwo to be successful.
but you once again 'did it your way'. bravo. *slow clap*
refund it is then. *sigh* Posted Image

I'm sure the inquisition and/or ministry of propaganda will delete this thread then, too.
still had to be said: the earth is flat, and you can totally keep things under control by just deleting threads.

I don't see much of a problem with them moving threads given the original forum link remains.

No they wont. The Mechwarrior community has proven it can get over any slight. Most of the people adamantly stating they'll never own MW5 on Epic will, in fact, be playing on day one.

Some of the community has proven they can get over any slight. However, we have lost players after every PGI **** up and at this point we are running out of players to hemorrhage. When it comes to the EGS that goes beyond PGI and their normal screw ups and has been a frustration for a lot of people in the entire industry. People are tired of all of it and I am willing to bet most won't be playing day one.

They did an AMA on it. That's all the interacting you're getting.

Oh, I don’t know. It seems to me the MWO community has been sufficiently disgusted over the years, to the extent that we have lost a lot of the player base over time. I know folks that were once regulars but left after claiming to be pissed off over: CW f-ups, rescale, comments that Russ, Paul, and Chris have made, nerfs, skill tree, mechanics changes, lack of development, MM, etc. etc. etc. Take your pick.

See Jarl’s for pop loss over time for a lovely illustration.

At least they didn't just delete the entire gen chat sub forum like that one time. Oddly enough you can google old threads just fine as long as you remember most of the thread title.

That was an AMA? Seemed more like a LMTYSYAK..."Let me tell you something you already know"...the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.

Please remember that the General Discussion forums are for MechWarrior Online discussions only.
Any topic not related to MWO will be moved to off-topic. While other Battletech and/or Mechwarrior game discussions will be moved to the Battletech subforum. The threads were not deleted, this is simply to keep the forum categories organized, so those who came here expecting to discuss MWO topics can do so without disruption or confusion with the mixed topics of other games.

This thread will now be closing as there is no further reason to discuss this moderation action in keeping the forums organized.
