How I argue? Arnt you the guy that was claiming I said a bunch of things I never said. And then tried to use the logic that because I didnt flat out disagree with someone else it must automatically mean I agree with them? lmao.

And I dont know where you got the notion from that I want to dumb down the game. Removing poptarting and disallowing PPC/Gauss to be linked for ghost heat didnt dumb the game down at all. It fixed the game from being dumb. PGI does not want long range PPFLD in the game for good reason.

Again I dont consider limiting voting to productive members of society to be elitest. Because most members of society are productive. Thats hardly elitist.

That you don't see the dangerous road or how limiting a citizens right to vote based on arbitrary limits that certainly would be abusive is telling. Absolutely ridiculous. That you can't figure out things have changed a wee bit since that particular document was written is also a clear indication of your inability to think like a proper human being.

And how you argue is if you don't get it, can't do it, or figure it out, it's toxic and bad. Repeatedly for years. Units/groups because you can't compete in group queue. Weapons and their balance because you can't counter it or understand it's counters. Poptarting prime example. PGI response to it was due to potato rage and the crying and complaining. Likely their own stats showed outliers like the KDK 3 and Mad IIC D could do two and two which was too strong.

So yeah removing an entire style of play from being effective, instead of trying to balance it is dumbing the game down. Just like your arguing for years and years about everything, then tirade focusing on dinosaurs. And you want to play semantics with me cause you didn't say large when erlarge's exist in the er family? Then oh no, really I am saying it's er meds, when that is also laughably incorrect???? GTFO, kindergarten level Mr. Engineer LOL.....

If only you knew how much of a colossal community joke you are, could see the laughter on various discords. Please post your picture as you sir are one of the biggest memes in MWO history for the level of pepega.

Also considering the game isnt successful now I dont know how you could argue that my approach wouldnt work better? The game is failing specifically because of its inability to appeal to casual players. Most of my suggestions are aimed at improving the game experience for casual players. Whom you continually berate as being unskilled and unworthy of having an opinion. The only elitist here is you.

Again I dont consider limiting voting to productive members of society to be elitist. Because most members of society are productive. Thats hardly elitist.

Your views on MWO are very much elitist. You want to bring back poptarting and gauss/PPC linkage without any kindve community vote. Because its how you think the game should be. You dont care what other people think at all. You dont even care about the reasons why poptarting and gauss/ppc linkage were removed in the first place; because it made the game miserable for casual players.

Since you added it is absolutely perfect you call me elitist in a video game when you also say you think people's right to vote be limited based on 'productivity' or have an IQ test.

Are you actually ****ing ****ed?

This is a video game, a game. Much different when you have a game or a sport or league. They don't function like a democracy how the **** do you not grasp this?

Get this through your head. The biggest issue is having a PSR system that put a tier one badge under your name. Even in quick play the games would be better off having balanced teams even if that meant all tiers mixing. Games are terrible if you have everyone in tier one and all considered the same level, and one side ends up with four or five 99%ers.

Caring about the game or being a purest that it not be dumbed down, like I wouldn't want chess to be dumbed down is so far and away from saying something so ignorant and absurd as treating people like less thans because of property or accomplishment.

Being the champion of 'casual' players, but want people's rights in real life to be limited...unbelievable.

I absolutely do not believe you have a master's degree considering how you argue, communicate, and want nothing more than to repeatedly dumb the game down for you to succeed.

You have to remember a Masters Degree really only means someone has received a lot of training at a fairly specific thing. Going to school as an adult has reminded me that supposedly very intelligent people can believe in hilariously dumb things for mind-boggling reasons.

You can really only use someone's education for one thing: How much they know (Or knew) about what they have an education in. Everything else is a crapshoot.

Quite simply, PGI happened. Their amazing ability to consistently make truly head scratching decisions, theeir inability to make good decisions, their inability to effectively communicate with the playerbase, etc etc...

People hated Steam because it was something completely new and an unfamiliar way to deal with games. People dislike the Epic Games Launcher because it's just another a feature barren launcher, along with Epics ****** practices of stealing games away from already announced platforms.

And I'm far from young.

lol...

And now with the recent post from epic, who knows when the client will get anything just to bring it up to a basic standard that uplay, EA and GOG, all which to seem to have figured that out. Even before EA Origin is a far superior client to what epic pushed out.

Ridiculous you'd lie and on top of that you'd scream elitist in game and then say something so absurd about voting.

Get a grip no one cares about your imaginary degrees.

OW.....Boo ! Poor form lad....

Many of us have more than a few "degrees", more than a few careers and all that means is that we put in the time to earn them....! How we communicate is based on where we come from and how we grew up..... I used Shakespeare earlier in this post. Did you know where it comes from and have you heard that part of Hamlet before? I included it because of the "reason it was written and the intent/meaning of the words...." Because, later Hamlet gripes, in his more famous soliloquy, that he should have done something well before the Lamentations of in-action affects his life....

LOL as a veteran I have received so many ridiculous 'degrees' its a joke. Its so easy to get a Masters now. Seriously you could be a complete idiot and have a Masters, plenty of them are serving in your US military right now.

Shakespeare is studied in high school though. Think it is pretty familiar stuff to everyone in my generation.

However when someone thinks and actually posts that people should have to pass an IQ test or prove their 'value' to society to be able to vote, and then turns around calling people elitist over a video game, and then lays claim to a highly respected degree, I am going to question that.

The guy I made that comment to has repeatedly displayed a muddled and incoherent form of arguing without even seemingly to possess simple skills people learn in high school to form an argument or defend an opinion. The contradictory nature of touting something so absurd wasn't something I was going to let slide. Saying this person or that person has x worth and shouldn't vote is idiotic and beyond reproach.

You want to white knight that guy, fine. What is really low to me is what he said and his reasoning and defending something that is incredibly ignorant. I certainly don't respect you for it though.

Sure I can appreciate that as someone who got a degree in college that was pretty much behind and a waste when the professional certifications I got after were far more valuable and could have been done without spending all that money and time.....

However people that have actually gone to school to get a masters are generally going to be at least familiar at how to write out an argument or understand such hypocrisy when saying people's right to vote should be limited, while touting others are elitist due to their views in a video game.

They weren't as loyal as they pretended to be. As soon as the Epic Games Store exclusivity deal was announced a bunch of players rage quit. Some even went so far as to uninstall as they demanded refunds for their MW5 preorder. I can understand people being upset but think some have blown things out of proportion.

Someone probably said it...But the list is very very long, not exclusive to this one event.

I am still playing MWO. Joined in 2011.

City of Heroes got resurrected from the ashes 2 months ago, one of the best MMO's ever, god's knows why NC Soft pulled it in 2012 to make space for a couple of new games that were never as good. So been doing that a while.

The Epic games thing doesn't mean much to me unless there is no offline mode. No offline mode with a singleplayer game means you don't own it to me. I don't know how Epic games will handle that.

I also don't like the exclusivity of Steam and Epic when they seem to be blocking me from running my games without their OK, but that battle was lost long ago. I guess buying games through "Are there any Deals.com" instead, for $5 and such is some recompense.

I think it's just a lot of new games are out is all, MWO is still my favorite PvP game and it is very well done. MechWarrior 5 will be a much better MechWarrior game experience because of the deal with Epic, they say, and if so that has merit so I have no problem with it. Same as Steam though maybe not as good. I don't want Steam or Epic, but if the game is good and it starts when I want to play it, even in 2030, it's good enough.

City of Hereos is out again!!!! LINK LINK LINK....that was the best player community I have EVER experienced hands down.

It's not technically "out" - Homecoming and other such operations are unlicensed "rogue" servers (although I'm hearing Homecoming is trying to obtain a valid license to host the game). Probably not kosher to link on here.

aaah bummer I was getting stoked...I have no idea why that community was so awesome...maybe its because at it's base it wasn't a PVP MMO. Yes there was City of Villians later but there was no hostile PVP camping or Ganking that I can recall.

PGI and EPIC happened.

The level of wrong decisions, balancing errors and failed promises finally made most of the playerbase quit.

Actuall nobody at PGI really seems to care

We all have opinions about this game and the "stuff" inside it....

And, to be honest, I seriously don't need your respect either. It's a dying game and I chose to call out your words; even though whom you disagreed with may or may out be telling the truth. We'll never know.... And, does it matter???

All of the whining is what I used Shakespeare to illustrate..... the "I should have done this, or that"....:syndrome. face it, there never has been anything any of us could have done to make a difference.... So, we might as well find some solace that "we few" are all that are left of a once fun and dynamic game....

No more and no less.... Good hunting.

You are an enormous crying whiner round these parts though, so it really doesn't matter if you are a hypocrite about it.

You decided to interject and defend someone calling people elitist in a game then turning around and saying people should be evaluated by some arbitrary worth in able to vote in real life. So this looks like you have taken a personal issue with me and lack anything approaching virtue here.

Just as you don't care if I respect you, I don't care that someone I don't respect decides to scold me. You want to take the high road, don't engage me. Cause I pretty much will call out everything you go on about as BS. Don't see you using your virtue to point out the guy I responded to said something incredibly ignorant and hypocritical. Instead you focused on one thing that offended your sensibilities (LUL) and very much looks like you just want to joust and have taken something personally.

Get a grip and go away.
