They added a manual download link, but the game still wont patch with the files manually downloaded...

Got the direct download files , set my cache folder , but where the heck is this magical blue patch button they speak of ???

The issue is with the CDN not propagating the new file. We tried all the normal steps and a couple work arounds but the issue persists. We have opened a support ticket with the CDN and need them to help fix the issue at this point.

I believe it is a cache server, and judging by the post it is run by another company.

A CDN server (also called CDN edge server) is a caching server located at a particular point of presence (POP).

So then the manual files wont even work ??????? I got them , but there is no "blue patch button" anywhere to be seen.

nope the clients have to be told to look for it... and since they are not being told..They are not.... Dumb right?

CDN is Content Distribution Network. All the big boys use them so you get your downloads from regional servers for fast downloads and so the load is distributed among many servers.

Exactly the same issue. Even reinstalled the game in the futile attempt to repair the issue. Anybody longing for the age when you downloaded the patch file and started it manually on your computer without this launcher things?

Its working now, Took about 5 minutes for me after others started saying it was working!

now patching is working but it required a repair run afterwards and after starting its announcing that patch is available in client and wont let you login
