But I had to yell at the screen when they put the lrm-15 on a ******* Atlas. STAHP ENCOURAGING IT
I think bracket builds are the way to go in such games.

Shut your mouth or I'm telling mom.
Also, get Roguetech. All problems solved by modding.
Not really. If you want to farm assault parts, you'll be doing it in a mix of Heavy and Mediums. Lights will be a rarity. The same upward progression exists in RT. Try doing missions like "Summoner's Call" in your mixed lance consisting of lighter mechs. You'll get owned. Most of the 5-skull missions will wipe out your lighter mechs with one salvo.

And where did anyone say you have to play 5skull missions all day?
I don't think you have any clue, but hey, haters gonna hate….

man, I might have been spoiled by the frostbite engine since battlefield3, but this graphics sucks. Looks like 2013-4 at best.
But we won't get a better mechwarrior game, so I guess we will have to settle.

i mean i dont want to find out you need something like a i7 8700 with 2070 or rx 5700 to run the game maxed out on 1080p...

Please, sunshine. If you're going to bring that logic, then no one said anything about wanting to play higher skull missions in vanilla BT either, did they? And where did your tiny brain find "hate" in my post? It's just facts. Why don't you play and win a Summoner's Call mission with your Light mech lance? You can't. Even a maxed out Assault mechs can't do it if you don't have long range weapons in that mission. Those are e.g., of how the upward trend exists in the game, regardless of which mod you use.

As I said: No clue (or at least no skill)
But go on try to insult me, just another proof who's the one with issues

797hrs into BT, just don't tell me what is possible and what not ^^
Have a good day, hun

Btw, first it was a "mixed Lance", now only a "Light Lance", maybe decide what you want to say, before you write it down...
But to give you a little hint, 4 Lights with (Er)PPC are enough with the right pilots and ofc IF you know how to play with sensors.
Only because you can't beat sh**, doesn't mean there aren't other, smarter players.

Interesting to see enemy pilots eject as their mechs are destroyed. Maybe players have to eject too to survive a mech destruction. It would be weird to have AI pilots ejection but not player pilots ejection.

You really put time into it but have absolutely no idea what you've actually done in BT or RT for that matter. 4 Light mechs with ERPPC is enough to win Summoner's Call? Do you even know what a Summoner's Call mission is? You sound like all bark and no bite forum-warrior troll. You've clearly shown you have done ****-all in the game. Then again, you're a troll and clearly deviated the topic what who knows what reason that goes on in your tiny mind.

Not liking the interface. It looks pasted on there, not integrated into the environment or the style. The speed and temp bars especially look like placeholders.
I know they probably couldn't make that vague 3D interface from the reveal trailer, but this looks worse than previous versions and is a far cry from the MWO one.
I was kinda expecting to see some of this stuff on the in-mech screens. Make the cockpit feel like an actual command center.

The "Battletech progression" is whack.
You get to assaults and you're at end-game, less than a third of the way through. GG.
Battletech was a bad game.
Battletech progression (especially in Career Mode) is what you make of it. Progression too fast for you, change settings to require more mech parts for salvage, slower MechWarrior Skill progression, etc... Flashpoints are also great for variety for Career Mode or post Campaign.
Even in the Campaign mode, the game can play as you want. I completed it using only Medium mechs so there isn't anything making the player have to use Assault mechs (and get there quickly)
To each their own I suppose, but I would definitely call Battletech a good game. I think I have played it more than any other game in my Steam library. Good stuff.
