So you are of the opinion that mw5 should not have its own area?

but then again who launches a game without an official forum? that's absurd. grab one of the many free or low cost forum apps and instal it on the mw5mercs site ffs. no i will not use discord. thats another damn data miner that id rather not have on my system. yes give it its own forum, but for now this one works.

No, no, no, the forum admin is alive and well and doing his job.
Remember when people were posting about the move to Epic, all the threads were moved for being off-topic from MWO... Negative publicity you see.
Now they're actually trying to sell the product (MW5) they're leaving the threads here for "Hype". They're hoping some of the newbies to the franchise play MWO while they wait to "familiarise" themselves with the game and maybe buy a MekPaK or two...
The irony is us posting about MW5 on this forum is doing more for their marketing than anything else in their budget. Pretty sure they brought off an eSpurter or two from some of the praise it's receiving... (thinking of you Prototelis

game devs never pay for that kind of stuff, they usually let the community do it for them for merch, or less (like some emotionally broken individual who gets off on the power trip).
the mwo webmaster could take a couple days to set up software for an mw5 forum, and then hand it over to the (free) moderators.

The official MW5 forum is the same as the official MWO forum.....Russ' Reddit page.

Yet you are still here? Same question to all the folks with nothing but negative comments about this game, if it sucks so bad why are you still playing it? And if you are not still playing it why the **** are you still on these forums?
Personally I am not all that interested in playing MW5 because playing against AI in a set story mode is so 1999. I'm hoping that they milk MW5 for all the pennies to fund MWO 2.

im still here because its the only way to get the pvp experience. also the fact that mw5 beta is only instant action, which gets kind of old after you have done all the missions a few times. after the rest of the game drops, then i might be gone for abit.
you also misunderstand my other post. mwo was a means to an end. pgi first and foremost wanted to make mw5. they could not do this with the assets they had on hand. but they could do a minimally viable shovelware f2p game. this allowed them to not only fund and create assets needed for mw5 (and also sold to hbs) but also to secure the funding. they could also dry run a lot of the core features, test game mechanics, figure out what kinds of maps work and what kind dont. mw5 would not have been nearly as good without this dry run. so i credit pgi for playing the long game.
mwo2, even if its just a pvp dlc for mw5, would be great when done in a fleshed out way like what was done with mw5. mwo was not the ideal pvp experience, only a shell of what it could have been. so i hope that is fully realized at some point.

Maybe I was dumping on you unwarranted, I just get annoyed with all the people talking how trash this game is but are still playing it or even worse don't play and still here in the forums talking trash. When truth be told this isn't that bad of a game.

I'm not sure if PGI's ignorant of the forum situation or that they dont give a [REDACTED]. They might have been banking on the steam forums to handle all the MW5 stuff.. <insert any untold number of EGS features comments here>
yep this whole place (not just general) will become quite a mess at launch if they dont create a seperate MAJOR forum section to handle everything MW5... cause they will find thier way here and you prolly need to spell it out clearly in big letters that they see when they first walk in the door..
A damn good reason for a seperate section is that MW5 is pretty much a campaign version of MWO and shares too much in common gameplay wise is that they'd reallly easily be confused as to what game ones talking about the mechanics of.. And along the lines of seperation the content side for MWO needs to be clearly demarcated too..

While spoiled millenials are running game development into dumbed down "br-looter shooters", gj princess

every generation seems to have an air of false superiority over the previous generations. even though they have yet to accomplish anything so far. they are more than happy to buy the products that their seniors are pushing and then complain how backwards they are. though in this case i think many of the devs are the millennials serving a boomer/x grognard audience (certainly explains the bad joystick support), though that's just so the higher ups can exploit the enthusiasm of youth for their own ends, and then stab them in the back when they are met. "thank you for making me rich, your fired" seems to be the way game companies operate.
