Where the hell is the reverse button? I can find nowhere to bind a reverse button which has become part of my play style now due to many years of MWO.

I remember MW4 Vengeance launching with nothing to indicate what weapon was active. Clearly something in previous MW games how the hell could they miss this?

This is how I feel seeing no reverse button available in MW5... did they forget something as standard as the reverse button? Am I the only player that uses this?

When using mouse and keyboard have you tried holding S until you move backwards?

Press W to go forward. Press S to go backward. Just like in MWO.

Much like locking onto specific sections of an enemy Mech and the Crouch button, instant Reverse Throttle is now LosTech. MW games (particularly PGI's MechWarrior games) have been gradually peeling away redundant inputs and simplifying the control scheme for several years now.

Locking onto specific sections is redundant unless you're using guided missiles which don't need the added benefit of focusing components on top of aiming for you.

Why should anything in motion be able to instantly reverse?

Agree about crouching tho. P.much not in the game only due to high overhead (which = money)

The mechs are too big anyway to make "crouching" seem feasible. If it was something like Heavy Gear however, then put crouching and prone in the game.

i really miss games where every key on the keyboard is used 3 times. simplifying things makes them boring. i want targeting controls that take up 3 hat switches (i have 8). i want independent axis controls for arms and torso like i had in living legends, i want freelook axes (which is why i can use my trackir in mechwarrior 2).

I would just like basic joystick support I don't think that's to much to ask for in a mech simulator game Posted Image... Sucks that I paid for Beta and can't even run the game as I would like.

MWO has a reverse button... I think it took awhile to put in or it took me awhile to notice it. J-stick support has been lostech for awhile now. I use a mouse and an orbweaver so mech movement is now done with my left thumb stick.

I'm missing MW4.

Hitting reverse in a mech is hardly an instantaneous action.
