Countless vehicles magicaly spawning in your six, missing difficulty levels which will become a problem later for mediocre player like me, the hud and so many little things they learned in MWO and skipped or forgot to implement in MW5.
Sorry PGI, mission not accomplished.
This game needs so much more patching befor it meets my expectations.
And maybe I am wrong but for me it looks more like a conversion from console to PC and not for PC programmed.
Your opinion?

MW5 is like mechwarrior and XCOM combined and when you have two good ingridients the product is pretty awesome.
If you play MWO you can listen to MW5 soundtrack.

It can be fixed.
There's no hope in fixing MWO.

But I hope PGI will recognize the potential synergy in keeping MWO online during the coming years. Even in a worst case scenario, MW5 is going to bring a LOT of new players into the franchise, just like HBS BT did. Some of these people could well gravitate towards a first-person PvP game.
In other words, it's not a zero sum game. Keep lots of good things available, and the franchise will grow.

MWO is a self destroying organism.
Right now, there's so few players (300 or so on each night) that when you try to play with a group of even two or four, you often get smashed against a 12 man premade. Newbies coming from MW5 aren't going to enjoy that feeling.
Plus, the faction play crowd is 80% {Richard Cameron}. In one of the usual pug vs 12 mans, we were told..
1. If you aren't setting up on Discord and using a dropcaller, don't bother playing.
2. If you can't camoflauge your mech to the scenery, you are a bad.
3. If you aren't coordinating weapons within the drop, you will lose.
4. If you aren't following the mech meta and refitting for every map, concerning attack vs defend, you will lose and you are bad.
Now, other than the "you are bad parts", I completely agree. The trouble is, that shouldn't be the minimum barrier for entry to expect to not get 40-12'd.
New players won't tolerate that as a minimum dedication level, and the old grognards won't de-escalate.
It's a recipe for disaster, but in my estimation there's not enough player base, and the "goods" are constantly **** kicking the newbs, because they are forced to play together, and it just means the newbs want nothing to do with it.
If this game had 4v4 and 8v8 lobbies with game options where just small groups could play together, this **** could have been so great.

So I prefer Mechwarrior 5. Maybe someday I will play the campaign. For now, the instant war is real good. Not perfect although,
I wish mods to make the instant war launcher better.

Charging people to have private matches and such kill replay-ability beyond new skins, and skill point re-arrangements or tier band adjustment queue random pug matches.
Just my opinion, you can only continue dropping into random **** for so long before the burn out.

"I can't tell if you're playing the online game or the single player game. You yell literally all of the same things"
"**** you."

I really need to speak to my unit mates, we never have a dropcaller, don't coordinate weapons, ok the only thing we do is adjust mechs/loadouts based on map/mode, the camo to scenery.....lmfao...official unit colours:
.......
based on those points we must be really terrible

Gets told something in ONE game (which is laughable)... Somehow is jaded forever.
I can see why MW5 is your favourite when you have the fortitude of melted butter. PvE - Play it "your" way.

That's really not true. They could never release another map or mech again and still continue to monetize the game if they introduce some sort of infinite grind mechanic to faction. If players were locked to a faction for an arbitrary amount of time then they could be subject to equipment attrition(i.e. lockout timer) as a balancing mechanic. In order to avoid using garbage trial mechs those players that wish to win as long as possible would need an uncapped number of mechs to use in combat. Each mechbay is nominally still $3 of real world money at minimum MC buy in . PGI just needs to get its head out its *** and stop giving away things that they can sell. Excessive generosity late in game life deflates the value of real money goods.
Its simply a matter of setting the contract/loyalty duration longer than the rate of total mechstable exhaustion. The need to have equal Clan/I.S. is also an anachronism. Matches should be scheduled with whomever is available in the queue. From that population logical ideological or territorial groupings would be constructed. If I.S. is twice the number of Clan queueing then perhaps a Davion/Liao conflict would be scheduled(planet to be determined by the nationality of the combatants), while that battle ensues the partial Clan group can populate and face those I.S that exit the aftermath of the Davion-Liao battle.
All this game ever needed to be was a 21st century version of Multiplayer BattleTech by Kesmai. Would not that approach to interstellar war benefitted from not being bound by both subscription fees and dial up modem expenses? Nobody was begging for MW5. PvP is the dominate trend in all gaming and should have been embraced, not used as means to end for lame PvE.
None of this requires super elaborate coding. Player organized interstellar campaigns were run with MW3/MW4. Those died when the Microsoft Game Zone did.
