Hey, I do not have MW5, but I do wish to pick it up when it comes later at Steam.

So the venerable Urbie, its a little pint-size mech that moves at 32 KPH, not a great combination, but it has good armor and shoots a man-sized cannon. Note that the 32 KPH, that is Anni-Level movement speed, without the same armor or same fire-power though.

Just a thought, you think the Urbanmech for the MW5 at least got a higher-engine variant? At least in MW5. Doesn't have to be at 81 to 90 KPH, because that defeats the purpose, but at 64 KPH of the 120 Engine, surely it could be manageable but still have the spirit of the cheap and slow light.

The Urbie is at 1,560,113 CBills right? Assuming that, STD60 is at: 367,799 CBills (Because I do not remember)

- STD60: 367,799
- AC10: 400,000
- AC10 Ammo: 9,200
- Small Laser: 22,500
- 9 Heat-Sinks: 36,000
= 835,499 CBills worth of stuff right? That means base Urbie is at 724,614 CBills

Base 120-Engine Urbie - that is still 11 tons worth of stuff, and you could still get a cheap amount of stuff.

- STD120: 735,800
- 6 Heat-Sinks: 24,000
- AC5: 250,000
- AC5 Ammo: 5,250
- 2x ML: 160,000
= 1,175,050 + 724614 = 1,899,664 (+339,551)

So at the STD120, with 2x ML + AC5 with 1 Ton ammo, the Urbie walks at 64KPH with decent fire-power, and it only costs extra 339,551.

Supposed that we did a UAC5 instead:

- STD120: 735,800
- 6 Heat-Sinks: 24,000
- UAC5: 400,000
- UAC5 Ammo:12,600
- 2x SL: 45,000
= 1,217,400 + 724,614 = 1,942,014 (+381,901)

Take note that the R63 Urbie is still at 2,006,108 CBills, so it is still within price-range, so we could use the UAC5-build to replace the current R63, without completely changing the niche of the Urbanmech.

- It's still cheap
- It's still slow, but not as slow
- It still has an acceptable cannon
- But now can walk with slow mediums like Hunchback

That is my reason why the Urbie should get to 64 KPH.

Yeah, I am aware. However PGI has been adding apocryphal variants like the SC, the K9, HBS did the R90 Suburbanmech.

What I am saying is that, there should be a variant for 64 KPH.

There are two urbie heroes. I didn't look at their speeds when I owned them briefly (one of the two has 8 double heatsinks, so is worth buying just for stripping them). I suspect they'd be a bit faster.

They are the easiest mech to kill in the game. they move so slowly, it is kind of impossible to miss coring their center torso out in few shots. Some of them have AC20's, so you still have to be wary.

I own those two heroes in MWO, i swear to you, they are still STD60s by default. I am also aware of the large cannons.
