- I think we have pretty high chances to see MWO on new engine with same or close mechanic and much more flexible mission for game mode in future. Possibly even as start - 4vs4 in some contract mission on planets and than more - like up to 12vs12 mech conflict based on factions and units. More flexible weapon changing without slot restrictions for multiplayer version. Hope we get also data migration of already purchased mech and weapon... put with possibility to open them after a liveling as pilot.
(like you got 300 different mech, each level you can open one model, if you have copy - all copy also of that model), and start to earn again expirience to make mech better again. That can make better curve between new players and old one.

Fact is, a @#$%ton of Forumwarriors are just massive pessimists. You could see this sale just as easily as a POSITIVE for new players that were brought in THANKS to MW5. MW5 was never meant as a replacement for MWO. It's just it's also been the Studio's baby since BEFORE MWO came out. They had to make MWO because Harmony Gold sued them heavily after their original MW5 Trailer came out due to the Warhammer in it. It took years, and cash to deal with those A-holes, a lot of which was earned BY MWO.

MWO isn't being abandoned anytime soon. Just need to be patient, new stuff'll come with time. Mean, hell, back when MWO started we didn't get a "Mech a month." We got them when they were done.

This makes me feel much better about being a whale over the past six years. For everything else that happened or didn't happen, at least PGI managed to kick Harmony Gold to the curb and get us our Unseen back.

Man you have a really positive outlook on this Franchise. Not a bad thing, just saying. With this small of a player base when every QP there is at least 1 name from the last round, you match cross region due to lack of players, do you really think they would invest the time to implement such a large scale effort? I mean we don't even have the ability to team up in group play yet lol.

I did not see any of the mechs I was thinking about buyin in the sale, Black Lanner, Hellspawn or Osiris.Arn't they supposed to be on sale as well?
