When your use the select server menu, say to turn off european servers to do a sync drop, then play a few matches, and click the button to select another server, the button won't appear again. You have to restart the entire game if you want to reselect european servers.

yes, it's buggy.
And no, you don't necessarily have to restart. There's a few tricks that are known to work (sometimes)
- create a group and change the server in the group window. The choice carries over to single QP.
- go into the testing grounds and leave again
- play one match and try thereafter
if these don't help, yes, you have to restart your client.

It's been broken since middle of last year.
Unlikely it'll ever get fixed.
Most if the time it's a case of life in/out to fix. Some stuff as above, can resolve it.

If i close MWO for a bug it gonna stay closed for the night, probably best to fix it but you have to be able to fix it.

An additional way to fix this is to change into the faction play screen and back again.

The only method that has worked for me was the shutting the game off then restarting it.

I'am fixed this bug, and fixed second bug - doubling up window in mechlab!
