There is center of gravity, and then, there is Michael Jackson.

It's all in the bum, when people bow/bend down their behind moves further backwards. And it's all subconsciously done.
Try bowing...
Now try doing it with your heels against a wall....
Or do it with 30% of your body weight in dumbbells raised to the side of your face. This raises your center of balance significantly that if you want to really bend forward you need to squat to move your rear back far enough to compensate.

Look at how far a human's center of mass moves during a bow.
Nice picture. Shame its blatantly wrong.
Note how far center of mass moves between raised/lowered arms?
Now note it moves roughly the same distance with an entire torso+head+arms in a forward position?
That center of mass offset should be achieved with moving just arms to where they are shown.
So unless you mean to tell me that an entire upper torso and head weight far far less than just two arms, that pic is loaded with BS.

If your *** weights as much as the entire upper body + head + arms, then congratz. But most people can't claim that achievement.

When drawing balanced poses as an artist or when animating 3-D humanoids, you need to first draw a line to see where the centre of gravity will be. From the point of bending, centre of gravity will always be right above the feet, not in front or behind it. As such, your bum moves ever-so slightly back. It'll not be right above your feet as if you were standing. Only when stretching and exercising, your bum stays almost right above your feet to get maximum stretching and tension but even then, it moves back a little.

Nice video showing center of mass and how irrelevant muscles are to it
