Looks like the Warhawk might have the wrong weapon for its objective. The objective says "LRG Pulse Laser", but it only has "C-LRG Pulse Laser" equipped.

Currently, that objective can't be completed using that mech. Instead, you have to do damage with an IS Large Pulse Laser on a separate mech.

Ahh yes time to dust off my old trial mechs from the garage . If i can appreciate one thing from trial mechs is that i can turn around show my butt to enemies and run away at full speed .

I own a Champ Kodiak and Timberwolf .

So first game...

7 x Trial ACHs... All of them doing sub 150 damage.
ECM on it is worthless because the mech is unskilled and ECM needs to be skilled to actually work...

Sorry Matt - This event is just sub-par. The games are an utter joke as most people dont have a (C) variant to avoid having to use trial mechs. Added to that many of them have super bad builds. The KDK3 was not even changed and it's got a terrible build on it as well...

If you are talking about Trial 'Mechs, those are not stock builds. They are customized variants created either by PGI staff or by community.

"Obsolete builds" would be probably a better term.

Not really.

The KDK3 does not even have full armour allocated to it on the CT... It's not obsolete, it's just bad and always was. It is not new player friendly at all with the 4 ERML on it either.

But then that is what the community "voted" for. And by voted, I mean got all their makes to upvote their post (way back when). So even if the build was objectively bad, they made it into the pool...

Usually I do not even check Trial 'Mechs since I like playing with the 'Mechs I already own.

just been doing the IS side so far.
That spider, not enough Ammo, the Catapult, wow, useless, only good for the other team, to get damage from, the rest okay, but those 2 mechs are the bad just bad builds

other then that, been enjoying my time playing mechs I would never use, they're just bad builds, don't know what the thought was behind the way the loadout is, I can't figure it out, not going to try either, there had to be some reason behind it
