My idea is to display each individual team damage next to each players name at the end of each match. This would be displayed next to the "damage done" or "match score" metrics of each player.

I see some team kills where I was pretty beat up and got nicked by a teammate only to die and vice versa, where I nicked a teammate for a couple of damage and they were beat up and they died. I also see people carelessly fire at the beginning of matches and I have seen deliberately team kills.

Displaying individual team damage at the end will help absolve accidents and help weed out intentional bad actors.

It would not weed out anybody. And do you know why? Because you have no influence on the matchmaker and thus it is quite possible that you will have a player that does a lot of team damage in your team again and again and there is absolutely nothing what you could do about it.

Sure, in theory you could report such player, but this is not worth wasting your time since there is already automated system in place that penalizes such players for team damage and team kills.

The damage column could have 3 numbers .. damage/damage taken/team damage without a major change to the UI
