It is possible to own any number of mechs of the same model, and that extends to hero mechs. I have two identical limited edition Centurions (loyalty version or some such), presumably a bug when they were handing them out.

hi, anyone know what the trick is for the last mission reward for a free mechbay ?? I've scored well over 500 match score in the random games with many mechs and never get credit for this one, help, thanks
do you have to scored exactly 500 ? or is the SW incapble of comparing 2 values, or is there some hokey gimmick to this one "it only takes once"

There's no trick. You get 500 MS, you get to redeem the reward. You're probably mistaken. Next time you get 500 MS, take a screenshot and post it here or send it to support.

Is match score the same as XP or something else ? just had a 4000 xp battle and subtracting the bonuses it was over 2000xp when I hit tab key it never shows the match score, how do u pull that up ?

No, Match Score is different. After the match ends, go to Team Stats by clicking on that tab on the top. It'll show you the kills, assists, damage done, etc., for every player involved in the match. You can see the Match Score listed there.

You need to play well and be a useful asset to the team to get 500 MS. For e.g., to get 500 MS without fail, do 800+ damage, get a kill or two and some assists without doing any team damage. You can also bring some mechs that can boat multiple AMS like the Nova, Corsair 7A, Kit Fox, etc., let it shoot down some 600 odd missiles while you do 500 damage and get a kill. This will net you 500 MS as well.

Main thing is, Match Score is influenced by a variety of things (assists, kills, missiles shot down by AMS, damage done, etc.,). Doing well in several of those criteria will net you a high match score.

Check this pair of pictures, please:

1. Match Score is not the same as Experience.

2. Click with your left mouse button on the "Team Stats" tab. It should turn yellow.




3. Check the Match Score column.

4. To qualify for a free 'Mech Bay, you need your Match Score to be higher than 500.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to do the UAV discovery portion. Any tips?

That is simple: When you know that you are near the main group of enemy 'Mechs, launch UAV. It automatically detects undetected enemy 'Mechs. Easy.

Another good opportunity is when you are brawling and you are surrounded by enemy 'Mechs (some of them undetected).

Note that UAV can not be launched underground (the tunnel on Crimson) or if there is some obstacle above you (rocks on Tourmaline).

Check this picture:



You should get "UAV DETECTION" reward notification.

you need to get 500+ MS in one match, matches don't add up.
still not too hard, I'd love to have PGI give away like 20mil CB for a 1000 MS match in a light or sth, that'd make an event fun

Don't pop UAV when there are already red dots on your mini-map. You need to detect the enemies, not pop a UAV when they're already marked on your mini-map.

i have "redeemed some items but they have not show up in the mech lab, like the different pattern and the bolt on --- does any one know when it shows up?

Usually after a few seconds.

I guess that it is a matter of your filter settings.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to your 'Mech Lab / Camo Specs

2. Click on "Owned"

3. You should see that you own the "Virus" camo pattern for the Wolverine.




Follow these steps:

1. Go to your 'Mech Lab / Camo Specs

2. Click on "Owned"

3. You should see that you own the "Antenna" Bolt-On for your Wolverine.

The Pattern and the Bolt-on are for the Wolverine mech chassis, i.e., all Wolverine variants ONLY. They won't be available for other mechs. Only colours are universal.

Edit : Other universal items are Decals and all cockpit items.
