Solaris Time Remaining Glitch

Did anyone else notice that the time remaining in the Solaris Season 8 suddenly changed in the past couple days? I remember looking at it a few days ago and it said 28 or 29 days left in season. Now it says 51 days 10 hours remaining. I checked with some other Solaris regulars and they confirmed it was 20ish days left just a few days ago. Can anyone at PGI clarify what happened there?

Same, please explain why the Solaris season has been extended?
