Get a fast light. Go wide, around the center. Avoid enemies. Hunt for a) DC or AFK or c) slow prey.

For example, a 100-ton Annihilator with only 4 back-armor, one good shot into the rear and you're ready to crit out all kinds of good stuff.

Just about any mech with decent focused burst damage can do it. Only a "challenge" for the lights, and even then beatable with the correct lights. Love my KFX-D, for what it's worth.

I love my -D variants, too. I play mine stock, though. How 'bout you? (Stock KFX-D, for anyone else who's wondering, has a NARC and 35 LRM tubes with 5 tons of LRM ammo. This is effective for Kills OR KMDD, but quite terrible at getting both).

Stock pods, but non-stock weapons. 4xSRM-6 with Artemis, rest of space filled with ammo. Survival is a bit tricky early on, but once the match gets into brawling range this thing punches above its' weight.

The salt will stop flowing, if and when PGI will start to actually care about MWO and listen to the community.
If you just want to play some pewpew mechs and ignore the fact that Solaris is dead, FP was killed over a year ago ("the year of Faction Play" thx for nothing) and QP is a constant noob nascar, good for you.

That's what Clan lights are good for (and known for, at least before they were "balanced") is punching above their weight. Another one of my favorite Kit Foxes is the -B: UAC/10, SRM 6, ERML, ERSL. Of the stock loadouts, it's the best one for in-fighting. It does kinda have 90% of its firepower on the right arm, though...

The light solo kill is evading me. It is making me sad. Last attempt was Urbie K9 with 750dmg, 3 kills, 2 KMD, but none of them solo enough.

I just want milk that tastes like real milk.

Solo kill is KMDD and Killing Blow on the same target. Means you can't have too much help bringing it down. I got mine in my KFX-B against a Piranha of all things. I'd been working on him as rear-guard for our heavies anyway, and then he goes and face-hugs our Warhammer, so he's standing still enough for me to Alpha a couple times. Not actually sure if the Warhammer survived, but the Piranha definitely didn't.

No. All it is is scoring a Kill Most Damage Dealt + Killing Blow on the same enemy mech ( you've dealt most of the damage your target took AND you've landed the killing shot ).

Just want to thank PGI and whoever setup this event.
I was so burned out from the super grind on the last event that It almost made me sick to even think about playing MWO.
When I read about this event in the forums and checked out the requirements, it was such a feeling of relief that I finally logged back in and am actually enjoying playing again.
PLAYING a GAME should be FUN, not a grind that just burns up your life.
