hehe.. yesterday I said the same thing.. was making a long post about how I must be the most unlucky person in the universe.. and then the email popped.. about 20 minutes AFTER 4pm PST..

Yup.. the condition of "not saying you are in beta" IF YOU ARE A FOUNDER, has been lifted.

So, AS LONG AS YOU ARE A FOUNDER, saying that you are in even if you got in before today is fine.

If you are NOT a founder, you still can't say if you are in or not! Oh the joy of the benefits of being a founder! haha

Update: The auto add system will be in place today. By 4pm everyone who has purchased a founders pack will be in beta and anyone who purchases one from here on out will be added immediately.

With that being said is there going to be a reset at some point where anything we purchase will vanish and our funds we spent return or how is that working? I'm sure this has been asked many times over already. It would be nice if we could get a better forum here one that will actually allow you to subscribe to certain topics or posts and be notified of replies. It is a PITA to find a post you make in the mess of posts.

I know that activating your automatic invite system today was technically better than arbitrarily waiting till tomorrow, but I still absolutely hate it when devs launch something automated at the end of the work day, because when it inevitably doesn't work (I'm still waiting to get in...) all of the people who could fix the problem have gone home for the day.

EDIT: Valve used to do this even worse: they would launch new systems on Friday night, and then anything severely broken would get fixed Monday morning. They eventually wised up and stopped that...

There is no decision yet as to when non founders will get into the beta. All I can promise for now is that on or before Aug 7th we will release another round of official information to update everyone on the latest plans and status of beta across the board. We are running along as fast as we possibly can to get this game released. But we won't release the game or go into the next stage until the product us ready for it.
