Do a 'specialist' sale. Mechs with 2x or more AMS and/or ECM and/or JJs and/or sensor quirks are half off. Then associate with a corresponding event.

Also, how about a warhorn sale, attached to an event that gets you a warhorn or two that you can't buy? (like the Solaris ones or old TSP ones.)
