PS, the earliest chocobo designs were quite a ways off from we get now.
Compared to Miyazaki's art for the Horseclaws, which were what the inspiration for the final design ended up being.
And even the horseclaws were based on the extinct Phorusrhacidae, Terror Birds, the Apex predators of the Miocene epoch.
nature is horrifying
All in all, the CCAF should be happy that so many of their robots look like birds, birds are fierce and smart and cool and ain't nobody gonna keep a bird down (because the bird can fly).
New page repost.

Obviously we saw it on something else and just jacked it wholesale, if we kill anybody that complains that means we get to keep it!

If ever there was an image of homemade sin eating a cracker, you found it.
It's like someone drug a huge electromagnet through the 'mech scrapyard, on their way to an ugly tie contest.

Yep. The original Cataphract art was three-bag-ugly. One to cover your face, one to cover it, and one to throw up in before you got the other two on. It's from the original House Liao sourcebook, IIRC.
Thankfully, we have Alex "I can make anything look good" I. to save us from that abomination, it really WAS a Frankenmech back then.
But the truth is, the original and truly defining Capellan 'Mech is the Vindicator, which was the best the Confederation could produce in large numbers. Nothing special, but pretty tough and got better in numbers. It's the 'Mech we oldschool Cappies dreamed of showing up, and honestly it wouldn't be a bad machine even now. Jump capable medium with at least 3 energy hardpoints + one missile, likely four? You'd strap 4 MPL's and an SRM 6 on, soup up the engine a bit and love every minute of it in MWO.

Also, your posts seem fairly ignorant, especially for a Capellan. You new to BT? Or are you trolling just to troll.
This game would not be here at all if not for the base BT franchise started way back in the 80's
Theres a reason for that tone lol
