Folks, is it just me, or does it look like the I.S. HunchBack Mech_Con Camo Pattern has been somehow messed up in PGI's Development Labs prior to being sent out to us? I don't think ~85% of the Mech should be stuck in uncolorable blackness, or was ever meant to be, and I've already run the Repair Tool but found out that it doesn't think anything is in trouble. Does anyone want to poke PGI to get this issue fixed, or are you not seeing the same mileage as me? It's kind of hard to want to choose purchasing it for the I.S. HunchBack when it just looks like somebody blew it to smithereens.

it's not just you, and the pattern was working fine back when it was introduced. First two are OG shots from https://mwomercs.com...t-for-6-newest/ , last two are current shots

It seems to me that the sale ended correctly tonight at 0:00 AM GMT, as stated.

@Akillius: The end time in your local time depends on where you live. For me, it ended correctly at 03:00 in the morning on the 7th my local time. If you are located west of the time line, the stated midnight moment arrives before it is that late for you.

I've been away from MWO for nearly a year and I've been playing a lot of other games.
And not a single one of them advertises sales ending at Zero Hour of day advertised!!!

Oh but how are sales dates done in the real world??? Well Xsolla is in California and PGI is in British Columbia so I'd imagine when they get a flyer on their doorstep they see the sales ends day as the sales ends on that day when the store closes. I can not foresee any flyers end of sale day as advertised for the day when the store opens.

Let's visit some websites and set postal code to PGI's location in Vancouver, BC, Canada V6B 6N9
https://www.walmart.ca/flyer
That Walmart flyer clearly says Thursday Aug 13th to Wednesday Aug 19th.
PAGE 1 DOES NOT SAY - Thursday Aug 13th to Thursday Aug 20th at ZERO HOUR!!!
Can you imagine the Friggin' Shitstorm that Walmart would get from all the people looking for their Aug 20th sale!

But lets not end there!
Nope lets see other flyers in the hopes one of them also tries to reinvent the friggin' Wheel Of Time!

(PS. To visit the T&T Superstore website English-only readers just click EN at upper left corner.)
https://www.tntsupermarket.com/
https://www.mmfoodma...tal_code=V6B6N9
https://www.staples..../content/flyers
https://www1.shopper...art.ca/en/flyer
https://federalstore.ca/
https://www.costco.ca/
https://www.yourinde...er?query=V6B6N9

So far no-POPULAR & SUCCESSFUL companies appear to support PGI's convoluted sales ending at 00 hours.

Oh I know there must be some magical logic based on the time-zones of the world map....
LOOKS LIKE THERE's NO MAGIC THERE EITHER!

And here, we have a relic of the past, that compares policies of local shops with internet customs... Dude, seriously?

I agree that 0:00 can be a problematic thing because normaly its "End of the day" not "Start of the day" but hey.....MWO has enough much more importend problems to solve then that.

Also I agree with Aidan...going to a store is a bit different then online shopping.

Those flyers don't apply just for in-store shopping.. they apply to their online sites as well.. you both owe him an apology

no, because those sites are just made for one country, while PGI's is made for people internationally, knowing that it makes sense they'd include an end time in UTC, for everyone to calculate it in their own timezones

Even a single country can have multiple time-zones. Online flyers ask you to enter your postal code (or zip code) so you see the correct end-time.. Having each player calculate their own time zone is the antiquated way of doing things imo.. maybe using ip address to determine time zone you're in.. i feel eventually this will become standard..

Well now we know who doesn't support the game by purchasing anything from PGI..............

Since March 2019 postal code and address are Mandatory to purchase Anything on PGI's website via XSolla.
Those details are Required even when paying with Anonymous PaySafeCards for stupidity lols.

Usage of local flyers was to show to the devs what They (the developers) expect when not at work.
But apparently brick & mortar stores aren't good enough, or aren't international enough.
- Would Walmart be International enough?
Oh wait they're just another useless brick & mortar store...
- Would Amazon be International enough?
Oh wait its not comparable since Amazon sells real world goods...

Hey, would AMAZON GAME STUDIOS with its HQ also on the West Coast be good enough!
Yeah your damn right they're good enough!
And 100% comparing apples to apples.

AGS uses 11:59 PM to avoid the PGI's "day after" confusion that using 00:00 creates.
Want an example of how to do it correctly, well here you go:
"This Preview event will begin August 25, 2020 at 9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET)"
"and end September 4, 2020 at 11:59 PM PT (September 5, 2020 at 2:59 AM ET)."
https://www.newworld...w-world-preview

PS. Don't go fanboiz on me again.
FYI a quick search will show this Zero hour bs has been a major cause of confusion for many players year after year after year.

More likely Xsolla's requirement than PGI;s.

You realize, of course, that somewhere it will always be "day after"?
Also, this example here proves the opposite of your original complaint so stop bitching already.

I don't know, that's a bit insulting.

It appears far too few care to see that sometimes a change can be a good thing.

Hey obviously I'm in the minority here.
No one's interested in even minor changes to streamline and clarify sales.
Yeah so MWO, MW5M, and websites are perfect, PGI don't change a thing.
Ciao
