Picked up my Ace late last year in the K3 Atlas; twin LGauss, twin ERPPCs on Caustic Domination.

Did it as last man standing, 1v3 at the end. Last guy on the enemy team ran outta ammo before I ran outta armour,

Most people I know got their ace or even deathstar during that one horrible patch a few years back that had entire teams being kicked an entirely unable to rejoin which lasted for a few hours.

I think these titles were removed when they were made because of DCs.

I have succeeded getting Ace of Spades. Getting those 8 kills is down to luck, though. Ideally your team shoots up a lot of mechs without killing them and you finish them off.

It was 50% luck 50% skill for me. Being one of the firsts to aos legit in the 6 spl lct is a feat that gets harder every time the power creep happens. Now you just power creep it through matches which is why I don't play much any more since lights are just that much harder and far less funner than they use to be. I shouldn't need ecm/stealth just to use a light. Don't get me started on that joke of a loyalty Jenner.

I got my first Ace of Spades in the Spider 5D, using 1 LPL + 1 MPL.

Edit: This was long enough ago that Assault Mode had turrets, I got 8 kills, the base turrets got 2 kills, and the rest of my team got 2 kills.

wont deny that there is a skill element. but there are a lot of factors that need to line up perfectly. my ace run i can only describe it as a moment of zen. the right position, the right inertia, the right timing. perfect heat management and well placed shots also helped.

Luck part is must part in this and deathstar... without it no amount of skill can achieve this alone, skill does give you more chances to achieve this though.

This is the best way to describe it, things just flow, enemies just die, you don't miss. Its a strange feeling. It didn't feel like I was the one doing it

Marauder IIC Scorch, LB-20's, SRM6a's, and a 330 xl I think. It was not only my push as I do, and normally die, it was my team, that followed and flanked my push. I just happened to get the killing blow. Awsome game it was, 1,600.damage, 9 kills 3 assists, 8 kmdd's.

I count 10t (2 in each leg, 1 in each arm = 6; 1 in the head = 7; 1.5 in each side torso (x2 = 3); 7+3=10. Still grats!

I myself do not recall when I got my Ace of Spades but I think it was in my trusty Nova-Prime (stock or back then prolly 10 erml) with some lucky kill shots and some solo kills. Can I look that up somewhere?

I just got mine a couple minutes ago!

It was in a 12 machine gun Piranha

The enemy team rushed us pretty much one by one and my team did just enough damage to strip their armor so I could secure the kills.

gotta love those ammo quirks. i had written off getting ace with ballistic builds after several 7-kill games where the ammo ran dry, ended up doing it with cerppcs and csrm6es though (and the srms ran out around kill 5).
