Hello there,

I´m not a new gamer but I´ve got a problem nobody can answer so far.
Just buyed a gaming Laptop for travelling between work and cant find out how I could transfer all the settings in weapon groups, design of the Mech`s and all to it from my PC.
There MUST be some files containing it on my PC because otherwise it would be saved on the Server.
I really don`t wanna go trough over 150 Mechs and change everything again on all of them.
Any advice or clue how I can solve this problem?
I would be so thankfull mates!

yep, exactly there. in your profile folder, you'll find your keybindings (actionmaps.xml), your user settings (video, audio etc., attributes.xml), your weapongroups and so on. Your saved mech loadouts are stored in the folder "MechLoadouts" and the thumbnails for your mechs are stored in "UI".

Sorry to refresh this, but is this still accurate today? I have an account with all of my keyboard and video settings are way better than the new one I set up. Just transfer actionmaps.xml and attributes.xml?

Migration to another PC for MWO:

MWO Client + Windows 10 Installation (NOT Steam):
Find your custom settings here:
C:\users\youruser\saved games\mechwarrior online\profiles

Attributes.xml holds your game settings

keymaps.xml holds your custom keybinds

You can copy the entire folder to a new computer and all your settings would be there. In \logs you can also find useful information in case you're experiencing game crashing issues. The folder also holds your saved mech and skilltreebuilds. You can browse it to find more interesting stuff, such as your custom mech thumbnails.
