Patch - AUGUST 18th 2020 @ 10AM – 1PM PDT

Patch Number: 1.4.229.0

Standalone Client Patch Size: 1MB

Please note that due to compression differences the Steam patch size may be larger than the standalone client patch size.

• Patch Files (Direct Download) - http://patcher.mwomercs.com/patch/Production/frontend/FrontendPatch_379.zip

Patch Content:

  • Solaris Season Ending Rewards

Bug Fix

  • Placed MAD-4A(s) in same Solaris Division as the Standard Variant MAD-4A

Patch Files (Direct Download)

To make the patching process easier for players with limited download caps, we'll be providing direct download links for the patch file(s) that comprise this patch. This will allow you to download the patch file(s) elsewhere, for manual injection into the MWO patcher through a Patch Cache folder.
Aside from allowing you to download the patch file(s) elsewhere, on another connection, there are no additional benefits to performing the patch this way; the patching process itself will be the same.
This direct patch download process will only work for players running the standalone client. It does not apply to players running MWO through Steam.

Patch File(s): To be provided on patch day

How to use these patch files
• Download the above file(s)
• For sake of ease, we recommend creating a dedicated folder for the patch file(s), such as 'MWO Patch Cache'
• You do not need to unzip or unpack the patch file(s)
• Launch the MWO Portal
• Select the three horizontal lines in the top left of the Portal Window
• Choose the 'Specify Patch File Cache' option
• In the field that appears, paste or enter the location in which you saved the patch file(s) and hit OK
• For example, C:\Users\<username>\Documents\MWO Patch Cache
• Click the blue Patch button
• The launcher will now check the Patch Cache folder you defined. If it locates the required patch files, it will unpack and use those files to apply the patch.
• Once the patch is complete, launch the game

It's about time. We've been telling you about that Marauder for a year, now. Glad to see it getting properly relocated.

Can you bring some love to this game again, with some new content?
Since the release of MW5, there has been nothing. Only event after event after event.

be awesome if they were to surprise us with a Stinger, Wasp, Valkyrie, Crusader mech pack
clans could be griffon IIC, Shadow hawk IIC, urbi IIC, Locust IIC
some new maps. destructible environment some new weapons like HAG PPC Capacitors small cockpits Xl gyros compact engines switchable ammo.
but just one thing is probably asking to much.

I agreed! I have MW5, played it for 1 month and I am back to MWO since it... You must do more valor to this game and their players PGI!

Considering how lackluster MW5 was, and your continued lack of new content for this game, I wonder how long it'll take for PGI to go belly up.

I don't think MWO is a moneymaker anymore fellas. I read somewhere that the mech packs haven't been profitable in a while, which isn't surprising given that pretty much every mech/weapon combination is spoken for already. So I can't imagine that this game will see the love we're looking for.

Be nice to patch group merge out. Just stupid *** decision. Didn't even bother to clean up the spawns and weight balance. You think it's normal to have 5 Fafnirs on one team and only two assaults, 95 and crappy 100 tonner champion on other?

Mediocre *** developers. No wonder pop has ****** off.

Some new maps would be nice. Fixing or refining modes would also be cool.
I also bought MW5 and was also dissapointed by it. I realy hope the DLC+patch will breath some further live into it but I highly doubt it.

My next visit to MW5 will be when MechCommander mod has most of its bugs worked out.

On the upside- with the benchmark set this low, I can't possibly imagine a future patch achieving less.

Broken spawns, broken weight balancing, broken game letting premades into solo queue.

Well, given that they're correcting a year-old issue with this patch that barely requires a patch to fix, and which various community members have been telling them about repeatedly for the past year, every patch between then and now could be considered "less" than this one. Posted Image

Where is the AWS-9Q? You know, the one with 4 PPCs, ECM, and 20 DHS? It should've been in the game years ago. It's literally an 8Q mirrored down its spine! Would it really be that hard to put in???
