Or PGI could design their own homegrown 'Mech, like they did with the Sun Spider and with the Corsair.

Which sold terribly and they had to give em away for people to use them... surprisingly a lot of people buy mechs for the nostalgia, which home grown mechs don't have.

Urbie IIC
Hollander
Solitaire
Hellhound
Argus

When I played MW4, I kinda liked Hellhound. It looks different in other iterations though, but I feel that this high mounted torso weapons would simply be meta.

Get that darn unseen mechs in for the sake of (nostalgia) sales, even if they do not differ much from already existing chassis!

Know tons of people that would instantly throw moneyballs towards PGI for introducing the crusader or even some iconic light mechs! Special Quirking-System to diversify mechs in between classes even more 'd be next on the table.

I want the Mackie.

Because it's the OG battlemech, and it's NEVER been in a game. [not counting mods for HBStech]

I've always voted for this mech for some reason:

Not that I like mediums, though, I usually play assults.

TWO rear mounted laslers. Cool.

I do not know how many Sun Spiders and Corsairs PGI has sold, since I do not have access to PGI's sales data.

But I see Corsairs quite regularly in the game, Sun Spiders less so.

Crusader would be probably the surest bet for PGI. I think that Longbow's missile pods would be targetable too easily.

Still looking for that three-fer of a Wasp, Stinger, and Valkyrie. Two variants each, priced less than $50. Would also like to see the Clint or the Whitworth.

Nostalgia mechs (as far as copyright allows for it) would grant decent sale numbers with high likelyhood if em overthink their pricing politics a little.

Furthermore I do not understand why em don't publish another hero-pack of existing variants (solaris style with a little moar flavour / viable variants) as a short term revenue-creation.

They can quirk the longbow to make up for that

See the poll... Crusader is a good choice but Stone Rhino and Fire Moth are the leaders.

Sure, they could. But for example the missile racks of the Catapult are quirked too and it does not make them especially durable. They are pretty easy to hit and pretty easy to destroy.

Yeah. Fire Moth is essentially Clan Flea, but without Stealth armor. Some people would probably buy it, but I am not sure if it would be enough people to pay for the PGI's costs.

As for Behemoth, I quite do not think that the game needs of all things just another lumbering Cannon-boating Clan Assault 'Mech after Daishi, Blood Asp, Supernova and Mad Cat Mk.II.

Then maybe they need to be quirked some more. This is a pet peeve of mine and games. When there are redundant things in games that are never worth using. If it's redundant then why is it even in the game right? IF it never worth taking then it's redundant and pointless this just bugs me why older mechs need a looking at and requirking

I don't find the other catapults redundant. I use the fact a lot of people target the missile boxes more than the sts or ct. A lot of mech do need new-er or better quirks to compete; a lot need it to have even a slight hope of competing even with in its own weight class. I'd love a reason to bring out any of my is or clan jenners. That 15 missile cd on the j7r-d just makes me cringe. As if pgi wants me to lrm 5 x2 it with a tag and be just that on the mech since the 14 arm armor just gets shot off in one hit.
