If ghost heat didn't exist, what you would get are quad er-laser boats 3 shotting **** from across the map. Or, the MDD-RV rebuilt to run 8 MPL's, yes, I love this build. What it simply does, is balances out the boating ability. If you could boat quad ATM-12, and get in the 200 meter range, you will 2 shot almost anything. Can't fire more than 3 without the ghost heat. But, yeah. If we didn't have ghost heat, build would be a lot different than they are now. Eventually I might come up with a list of a max number of anything you can fire before ghosting. Yes, you can theoretically fire over the ghost heat threshold by less cooldown, more heat generation, all operations node related to heat, and coolshots.
