Can't Create Account With Steam Version Of Mwo

The Steam version has a serious issue.

All the 'Create Account' buttons and 'forgot password' and 'news' items do not work.


I had to download the PGI launcher version for these functions to work correctly.


Please advise on how to fix Steam version/ FIX STEAM VERSION.

I bet a lot of new users just give up when they click 'Create Account' and it does nothing.

The workaround is to enable Steam Overlay (Shift + Tab) as the game uses it to open website links.

PGI Technical support is investigating solutions as well.
