The Region Select button (beside Quick Play) doesn't work for me and hasn't for at least the past week. Is this a known issue? Has the feature been removed/turned off?

It's a bug. You can either

• restart the client, directly after it should be accessible
  
• open a group and try to switch servers on the other UI
  
• jump into the testing grounds (also maybe the Academy) and back out
  
• try again after your next match

of all these, the client restart should give you the most reliable, but most time-consuming, solution.

You can only change it before your first match after logging in. The bug as introduced about mid year last year and people have stopped even bothering to mention it come patch time as it is clearly never going to be fixed.

It's a Feature...not a "bug". Much like the "mudholes" and the term "classic" for Terra Therma.

why spend precious engineering resources on sth that is so easily manageable by the user?

In four words? "Quality Of Life Improvement"... No sarcasm here... Users should not have to completely dump what they're doing in order to make a function start working which should always be operational. This nasty little BUG – and it really is – should not have been allowed to emerge and remain for more than three years!

It probably happens so infrequently, and there's a workaround, that not many people complain about it.

Posting on the forums isn't the best way to lodge a complaint.

I guess nobody wants to play on the sea server especially eu players. I tried in from east central US and its around 250~300ish ping and lag teleports like crazy. Fun to abuse in a light but I'm not that slimy.
