Remove Unnecessary Game Modes.

They all boil down to skirmish anyway but at least these 3, the alternate win method can usually come into play. Domination at least forces you to fight or lose in the late game.
Skirmish can get dragged on although sometimes that is fine if last players are actually fighting but those crazy clutch games are very few.

But seriously, skirmish needs to go. If I was PGI I'd do it in the most "entertaining" way possible, switch it for escort but leave it labelled as Skirmish and see how long it takes the potatoes to click.

this is due to the fact most people playing still prefer to fight human enemies rather than do PVE "objectives". People who prefer objectives have a whole new game specifically for them now: MW5

I understand what you're saying but given the two options I see Domination played more than Skirmish. If we were to keep a single mode it should be Domination. The funnelling of both teams towards a single location is what I believe makes it the preferable choice.

Break up the whole rush for the middle and fight mechanism of the game. Make lighter mechs useful.

Skirmish is just built into all the other modes, why not just have the extra objective always.
Conquest, to me, only sucks on Polar highlands and sometimes I think the old way was better where caps took a lot longer to cap but it adds a variety to the game that other modes don't because you kind of have to pick and choose what to do based on the scores.
having a secondary means of winning is a good thing for the game. Yes, most of the time it ends up winning by mechs killed but having a way to win is better than not having another way to win.

Although I'm all for just removing voting all together. It slows down getting into matches. Than and lowering the ready timer from 80 or 90 whatever is it, down to like 45. We spend so much time waiting to launch once MM finds people.
MM finds 24 people and bam, loading room, 45 seconds or less later we drop.

First kill the enemy or drive them from the field. Then take their toys and lunch. All else is BS.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true. How is assault poor? you get on a cap and possibly win.
Conquest: you divide and conquer and possible win.
Domination: Yea, kind of poorly designed but again, another win option.
I like to win games, and if we can win by the other objective then we win.
Poorly designed would be escort....although on polar highlands it actually worked.

It would be nice to revisit gamemodes and mix things up a bit. Maybe a capture the flag mode? We've got the energy collection system in incursion. With some repositioning and changes, you could put one in each opponent's base. Ah, but you'd have to have respawns then for it to work.
