EDIT: Do these even qualify as stomps? Most of the winning team is dead in both, and the premade has lost people.

I don't think he said they were stomps. He said the outcome was easy to predict. Two very different things.
Since you are not naming and shaming anyone here Knight, please post unedited results. It's always nice to go look at actual player stats to compare the two teams. You can have equally matched teams (looking at Jarl's list rankings, or just WLR) that still have lopsided results, but I suspect in these matches that the winning team had substantially better players (group or not, but the groups did seem to do well).

I'm not at all sure what PGI can do to change it. If they do nothing the population bleeds away due to stomps.. If they ban pre mades in an online game the groups again leave the game as they cannot farm newbs with their friends..
So anyone got a suggestion on how to fix this.. People just do not want to talk and be social in an online game, crazy i know but what can the company do.

I can promise we're not farming anything, just a few casuals trying to have a bit of fun. And we are baaaaad at the game, most of the unit only started playing at the very end of November and, well, I think my stats speak for themselves if anyone cares to look and they don't speak highly of me.
Sorry if you felt stomped man, I promise you from our end it felt like a tense, chaotic battle, and thanks for not posting a screenie of any of the matches we get stomped in return.

Don't play into his game of "anyone better than me is a top tier comp player".
Groups are a thing. Don't be sorry you're playing in one. It's not your fault MM is set up how it is.

Cheers man, to be honest I'm glad to be playing in a group, it's let me bring new blood into the game, who are really enjoying it, in a way I didn't feel I could until the queues were merged. Rightly or wrongly I always felt the old group queue was for, y'know, good players and not the right place for a casual player to introduce newbie pilots.

Yup, return quickplay to puggers.
Groups need to fight groups. if there's not enough population for that, then play pickup.
The solution isn't to destroy quickplay by turning it into group play because group play doesn't work.
Group play needs to solve group play. Cannibalizing quickplay is not a good solution.
Create 4v4 so groups don't have to wait forever to find opponents.

Well you messed with the crabbos you got the stabbos.
One of those "Comp farm players" has 10 hours clocked and was playing a battletech canonical build, in direct protest to me and jiro who were suggesting that might be bad.
None of us were even the best performing players in our own lance.
As much as I hate saying it, I don't think any of the 3 of us (or even the CRAB plan) were integral to victory.
Samial raised a good point about communication, that does win matches, but I don’t think you need to be in a group to do that all you need is a headset and a willingness to put yourself out there. I remember that match, I was on open chat coordinating with the last few players on our team to track down the stragglers on the other team I probably talked more with them that game than I did with the crabbos.
