You always have excuses and refuse to take any responsibility for your own skill level. If you care so much about PSR then play better.

And here I was trying so hard not to say "Git Gud".
Maybe a step by step guide to the basics of "Gitting Gud" would be helpful for a new player. These are the steps I followed when I started playing.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not claiming to be a great player, just a mildly competent one.

1) Learn to hit your shots. Don't worry about anything else other than getting your damage on target without overheating and shutting your mech down (override is my best friend on the battlefield). Once you can reliably hit your target (it doesn't matter where) with your weapons of choice without trying too hard, move on to step 2.

2) Learn to splash/avoid incoming damage. Learn to torso twist against return fire to splash the damage and to present your least damaged components to the enemy (this requires keeping a careful eye on your paper doll). Learn to use terrain to present yourself with the least amount of return fire. Once you can consistently spread the damage over most of your mech then learn to combine steps 1 and 2.
Now that you are good a hitting and getting hit move on to step 3.

3) Focusing damaged components. Learn to hit "r" and actually look at what to targeting info is telling you. Then practice getting your damage onto the stripped or weakened components, mainly torso's or legs if they are open. Once you have learned to combine steps 1 through 3, congratulations you are now more of a danger to your enemies than your friends and can move on to the final step, which actually accounts for most of the skill cap in MWO.

4) Map knowledge and positioning (the stuff I still get wrong). Learn where your team is likely to go and where your enemies will be coming from on each map. Learn where you need to be on the map and within or around your team (this will change depending on weight class of the mech and the role you load-out dictates). MWO skill wise is probably about 80- 90% positioning and map awareness with the last 10-20% being the ability to hit your enemy.

These where the steps I took to, if not "Git Gud" then to at least "Git Competent".

There are other things to learn but these 4 steps cover the major ones.

Some of the things I still have trouble with:
1) Learning when the peaking match-up is not in my favor (I can be a bit too stubborn).
2) Learning when to stop brawling (I can get a bit too excited).
3) Learning when not to push (Crabs are pretty tanky right? I'm sure I can lead the push into that firing line no problem).

What if you don't give F about PSR because you just do give F? I have nothing to prove to you or anyone because I don't care. Other people option of me mean nothing to me

There is no issue with that.

The thread starter has made probably close to 100 or so posts on this exact topic- and has played a lot.of games over a long time. He absolutely refuses to take any offers of help, but keeps complaining about how unfair it is that he isn't tier 1. He cares- a lot- but won't actually do anything about getting better.

Hmm were did i put an excuse, besides i have chatted with folks, in game that say the same thing, but will not talk about in the forums.
LOL from a guy that in JAN, only 15 points above me in match score, but no excuse - i get plenty of games were i carry the team, i get many games were i lead, i get a few Thanks Sawk, in chat, and by the way, i can get folks to chat, and then i follow if they want to lead.
i am trying to test the waters, and its not looking good --to get anything changed, so i'll go silent here and in game, and just get my kills : )\

If you want changes look to yourself and think about that, competitiveness just breeds anger and stress imo. Plus this game is in maintenance mode so outside of a few tweaks not much will probably ever change.
