It's not fun to stomp people 48-(0-12) every game, so yeah we don't play it. TwinkyOverlord did a FP Final Boss (EmP) stream about 4 years back and brought a 8-9 man of EmP + D5 into faction for about 4 hours. Stomped everyone, wasn't even close. Only video of it left is this one against ISEN (another comp team at the time, though they were Div B+/C- playing against World Champs)

OH that alt account and you know it. Why is it so hard to admit that people working as a team make each other stronger because of force multiplication. Talk to anyone in military about how something on it own is not as strong as it combined with other factors

Like I said self fulfilling prophecy. If they really high levels don't play it then there will be stomps when they do play

Again, you think there's some kind of mechanic for QP's matchmaker to take a group's PSR into accout. There isn't.

crazy thought, but: maybe if FP matches weren't typically an hour or more in between, comp players wouldn't be dropping in QP as much?
Another crazy thought: Maybe if FP were reduced from 12v12 to 8v8, matches wouldn't take an hour or more to make, seeing as how... y'know... you don't need as many players to make an 8v8

Fair enough. So, how do you propose they add it without having to code it? You do realize that PGI has a shortage of competent developers for MW:O, right?

He is right. Faction play is not comp and never will be. Such a final boss team will just kill the que instantly (harder than any evil group ever could).
And comp players never wanted soup que. They wanted 8vs8 with solos possible to opt in.

Pls only suggest changes if u are activ in the mode!!!!!!!! Wait times in eu prime are 2-6 mins. If u insist to drop solo u will get skipped.

Many groups dont play FP that much anymore cause theres simply not enough cannonfodder left that would join fp matches. Thus, groups that wanne play FP have to wait pretty long. Pretty long at times when its prime time. I heard it is pretty much dead in the 'off' hours. MWO QP you can basically always play and you dont have to wait long. Maybe 2 mins tops. Can even remember when I waited longer than that.

And the reason most ppl that tried FP stopped playing it is because it was roughly ten billion kazillion times more imba than QP could ever hope to be. You got somps in QP. Pretty often even. But theey only last a few mins. Maybe 2 or 3 mins and your complete annihlation in a cannofodder team (or vs a really good team) is over.

FP though.....haha oh my god. That was one stretched out utter destruction of untold numbers of either completly inexperienced players vs organized and experienced teams or just standard pugs that got badly outclassed for 30 mins. That is what killed the mode. At least for the vast majority of mwo players.

You can shear a sheep quite often maybe, but you only slaughter it once.

Not to mention you need more money to play FP and you have to put together drop decks and often have duplicate models of mechs. I have 90+ mechs, but (excluding the Urbanmech) I have very few duplicate chassis and literally no duplicate variants. For me I'd rather spend my money on a new chassis than buy a duplicate to build a good deck for FP.

There's not enough people in the game anymore to keep faction play and solaris. PGI should just remove those 2 modes and put all their ressources and time into quick play.

Would stop these endless debates about faction play and people grouping in quickplay

90 mechs should be enough to make some good drop decks without duplicates.
