Sorry, just a theorycraft build from K2B. It's not from the gamedata. On a positive note though, the Dervish is fully realized! Quirks and Thumbnail and all!

Edit: In all honesty, this is nothing but a heavier Blood Asp. Even geometry-wise. Same shoulder mounts, but the arm-pods would be even farther apart.

As for why the Stone Rhino is there, there's a bunch of eSporters* who are known to have private meetings with PGI.

So they're either trying to garner public support for the Rhino before proposing it to PGI through the backdoor or they know it's coming and are trying to get the players "excited" before the inital announcement.


The reason it's being done in such a clandestine manner is because the IS Omnis and Urbie IIC have more community support but don't align with their personal agenda. They don't fit the eSport meta.

The IS Omnis fill a much needed roll in the power balance between the IS and Clans but also suffers because of how flawed the current engine system is. And the Urbie IIC is, well, it's an Urbie, everyone loves an Urbie, but it won't have as much meta potential.

Yeah, if the MWO equivalent of the Illuminati™ wanted any Clan 100-tonner they'd probably pick the Bane or something. The Rhino is a nostalgiamech, not a metamech.

No I totally wouldn't. I don't use mechs with low agility. I'd unironically rather use a Gargles or Executioner. Gotta go fast.

I got a load of fire power on that in the data base well keeping a good speed and heat management

In other news, I just noticed a new Highlander IIC variant on MechDB as well, it's called the Cu Chulainn and it's got 2B in the RA, 1B + 1E in each side torso, and 1E in both the head and CT. Definitely looks like it was custom-built for also-torso loadouts. This is definitely more along the lines of an Illuminati™ meta mech than the Stoned Rhino.

It doesn't even have a stock build yet so I whipped together some stupid undersinked dakka build so I could post a link to it: CU CHULAINN

So is he gonna just keep adding his own mechs? Now there's really no excuse not to add the Urbanmech IIC to the site. Illuminati pls. Also IS Omnimechs pl0x. And my custom Shadow Hawk with energy left shoulder and ballistic right shoulder.
