The early adopter rewards are still available for an entire month AFTER release. So it will release, you will see them, and then you can decide for yourself.

Wow. So they are. I read that as March. That is pretty darn cool.

...infantile cockpit items...

To be fair, the cockpit items with this one pack at least seem to be militaristic/tacticool rather than weird cartoony stuff that looks like it came from Fortnite.

...But yeah the main value always comes from the mechs.

I will be buying the pack to support PGI since I played all last year with spending a dime. I'm in tier 3 so I hope it doesn't take Scout Derek level skills to make the mechs competitive.

Grand Dragon for nostaligia is nice but way things work here needs Lots of quirk. Really needs some hardpoint fudging.
ThunderBolt always good mech but JJ and ECM gonna get NEEDLESSLY bad quirk.
Bought it. I'm a sucker still. A POX ON ALL YOUR HOUSES!

I’m so confused. There were so many kickass interesting variants in that thread. So many. I’m pretty sad this is what we arrived at..

Yeah that's not creepy at all. Secret societies really put out that enigmatic ominous symbolism to the point where I think most of them are nothing more than edgy highschoolers. What cracks me up the most are entry level free masons that think they are apart of a grand secret society and act like they hold forbidden knowledge of the higher lodges with entitlement, but let's not get off topic shall we? :D

Hope we see more appropriate variations for the clans and especially some of the IIC variants. Hope we get an entirely new mech soon as well.

Just to let you know how your actions affect sales PGI. I was thinking about buying this pack, but I remembered you banned Chaotic_Harmony because you didn't bother to fix a problem, and I decided you will not be getting money on this one.

Bought the package, look forward to the TDR.

... but I will never undestand what the heck we should do with both regular and the special variant of the same mech. This never made sense to me also in the older mech packs. I most cases you dont need two mechs of the same variant. Some special exeptions of course exisits, but these are never offered in these packages...

a) It's a throwback to the Collector's Pack (with the (S) variant), vs Standard Pack (sans/without the (S) variant).
Guess they have the same mindset for this Stryker [Collector's] Pack.

You can obviously sell your Standard Variant for virtual C-Bills.

b ) But there are situations where you may wish to keep both the (S) Special Variant, and the Standard Variant.
Like when you buy the Vapor Eagle Collector's edition, you may wish to keep both:
VGL-1(S), and
VGL-1 Posted Image

Not suprising. Both were requested by the community. And, in all fairness, with some HP inflation they would not be too bad.

Aslo, I would not be surprised if the next light Mech, assuming we ever get one, is the Hollander. Of course it will be bad but people want it. PGI sometimes fulfills the worst possible wishes.

True, you are right. And we have seen worse indeed. But then, were I a Kurita fan and finally saw that Grand Dragon (aka the pride and joy of the DCMS), I would ask for Kurita-related stuff in my cockpit. Of course, if I were a Kurita fan I'd buy the pack regardless...

I would have sold faction related packs anyway, new Zeus variant with lots of Steiner stuff, new Vindicator with Laio stuff, etc.

Clan have great ECM mechs in the form of the Hellbringer and Blood Asp, I don't know why PGI still shies away from giving IS ECM mechs with decent hardpoints. Instead we get the ECM warhammer, cataphract, cyclops, and now this lol.

ECM Night Gyr too. I was thinking this exact same thing. IS ECM mechs always come with drawbacks in the form of terrible hardpoints or terrible quirks, Clan ECM mechs lay waste to legions. That doesn't however mean that I don't want the ECM Dire Wolf.

The ECM Cyclops is decent though, the rest I don't really bother with unless I'm just feeling something different.

The hardpoints are on the page. The Grand Dragon has 4 energy hardpoints and 2 missile hardpoints, in the CT. (Yay two SRM4s?)

So no hardpoint inflation beyond that. Its garbage and its an example of the nostalgia picks that have hurt this game significantly.

The Thunderbolt is at least interesting, but still won't be that great in game. 5ML, MRM40, MASC, ECM, JJs, I guess.

I am aware of that, hence the "would" in my sentence.

People wanted faction specific Mech variants as reward in faction play (instead of the non faction stuff like Hamster Huey cockpit items), and the Grand Dragon was named as one such variant.

The people that don't left the game don't care about stuff like factions, they want only a simple Call of Duty shooter with Mechs and only spend real money if the new mech is OP.

Yeah, a bad Mech for "Call of Duty: Mechwarrior". If they want money they should make it more OP.

This game is nothing like Call of Duty. Nobody wants OP, they want interesting. 4E hardpoint Dragon is not interesting.

I also love the comparisons to Call of Duty like it's some type of insult. Call of Duty has a playerbase of millions and a constant stream of development. If real time shooter games with PvP aren't for you, go play something else.

Bought this for the TDR and all the extras, the Dragons will stay in the garage, never liked them, probably never will. At this price though for 4 mechs, bays and the additional stuff, its a steal.

Grudgingly - Thank you.

I like the new idea of C-bill boosters as movable cockpit items. Kudos to whoever thought of that one.

Will the 5% C-bill hanging item be available for sale in the future?
Btw, thank you for choosing that. The previous freebies have been heavy on standing and lean on hanging, so decoratively, it fills an under-served niche.
MUCH more importantly, thank you for not doing the warhorn first. That is the most interesting cockpit customization by far, and being locked in to having to use one all the time - and not even the sound of my choosing - would not be ideal.
C-bill hanging and standing first, and warhorn freedom for now, is a very thoughtful design choice.
Being able to "signature" one of my own favourite warhorns to be the one to carry a 5% would be great, btw. Kinda like Sean Lang's proposal to "hero" 1 mech of your choice, but 100% cosmetic. How about it?

Maybe...just change the name "Grand Dragon" to....something else? LMAO
Snuggles Time cracked me up stating we would have to paint it white. Yeah....maybe not such a good name.

Unheard of price and a great bargain: US$20 for the two (x2) pre-order +5% C-Bills IS booster hanging items.
If you are on the market for these, this alone would clinch the deal !!
(Remember: Until May 18th 2021, all Pre-Orders would qualify for these).

You can actually get additional +C-Bills booster cockpit items, for both standing + hanging items:

ie:
Civil War, IS/Clan Ultimate Rewards: Total +10% C-Bills booster hanging+standing items (ie: 10%=5%+5%)
http://mwomercs.com/civil-war

Civil War Escalation, IS/Clan Ultimate Rewards: Total +10% C-Bills booster hanging+standing items (ie: 10%=5%+5%)
http://mwomercs.com/...-war-escalation

Evolution, IS Ultimate Rewards: Total +10% C-Bills booster hanging+standing items (ie: 10%=5%+5%)
http://mwomercs.com/evolution

2019 & 2020 Annual (Loyalty) Reward Program: get IS +5% C-Bills booster standing item, & Clan +5% C-Bills booster standing item
http://mwomercs.com/...rewards-program

(Just be careful: IS +C-Bills booster hanging & standing items are for Inner Sphere mechs only.
And Clan +C-Bills booster hanging & standing items are for Clan mechs only.)

+1
I would love to pay real cash to "craft/imbue" a +5% C-Bills bonus for a Warnhorn of my choice,
which would be stackable with my +5% C-Bills booster hanging item
and also stackable with my +5% C-Bills booster standing item !

I just realized you can check out the hardpoints of the mechs already.
Quite disappointing. Especially the Dragon, it's just bad.
Despite initial excitement about the pack it's a hard pass for me now.

The Dragon is awful, and everybody who requested it should now feel ashamed for ruining a great opportunity.
