So, not even sure how this could be related, but has anyone else had unearned steam achievements for this game randomly unlock since the sale went live? I just randomly got the "So Vain" one for attaching a bolt on to a mech.

Except I've literally never put a bolt on on any of my mechs. Ever.

The ability to purchase Stealth Armor directly is also a very nice touch, even if it's not at a Sale Price right now. That enables players to pre-stock some for future use on a Mech of their personal design. I am actually very surprised by this one, as I had no idea (or somehow forgot) that it was even possible to allow!

May we please have all the other Weapons (Energy, Missile, and AMS) added to the Sales too??? Many of these Mechs that have Ballistics loaded can't get away with only loading that Weapon Family in their configuration. Because of that, they tend to find companion weaponry in one or both of the other groups. It always helps to be able to load up a LRM/MRM/SRM/SSRM and/or Laser/PPC/Flamer alongside that AC/RAC/UAC/LBX/Gauss/MG which started the design.

... may we please also have the Engines added to the Sale too? Those big central power plants for the drive systems on the legs get rather prohibitively costly. When someone is trying to build a new Mech for their use, particularly the newer players which have come to MWO, that can also become the controlling factor in whether or not the Mech's intended design gets made at that time. In some cases, it governs whether or not a Mech Variant will get purchased for use any time soon.

I know that feeling... We have all been there, done that, and hate going through a bad experience again. I hope you don't end up letting it cause you to feel down.

Perhaps it would be worth adding another day or two on the Sales' time? Please? It would give people reasonably enough time to see the whole Sale Rack that's up, and therefore enable them to decide without feeling rushed. As a major plus to you, it would give extra time on the backend to sniff about and iron out any wrinkles that you can, as well as provide more of a chance to find things that would need a Patch to fix them! I have to think that's a win-win for anyone involved.

I didn't notice that the discount is not applied and bought them. Will there be a refund of the extra C-Bills we paid?

Wow, this is like a late nerd Christmas.

I started playing two days ago, spent half a day in the training academy, did quite well so far I guess, bought a Vapor Eagle and kept the engine as I didn't have enough c-bills to do a lot of different stuff. Won the Huntsman - actually a thing which got me finally into the game after watching videos for a long time. Well, had I known, I would've waited a little longer to save a lot of c-bills on Mech and equipment, but if this is a bit like WoT, some day I'll have more money than I ever need anyway.
A big thanks to people like TTB, NGNG, BrioS, BlackhawkSC (seems as he's not very active anymore) and others for their informative stuff on YT and Twitch.
Just bought a Hellbringer, as everyone seems to be fond of it. At least I know something about building Mechs, as I'm a long time fanboy of the BT universe's stuff (Tabletops, Books, video games - all of them)
Engines seem to be expensive, so 50% off would be very cool.
I have the Vapor Eagle 1, Huntsman Prime, Hellbringer Prime and Warhammer 6R now.
On my list are the Wolfhound 2, Arctic Cheetah, Vulcan 5T, Assassin 21, Marauder 9M, Rifleman IIC-2, Blood Asp A/B, Mad Cat mkII B, Corsair 7A, and Annihilator 2A. They seem to be the most recommended chassis. Correct me please, if I'm wrong and give me an additional light chassis for IS and Clan to have 2 each for every weight class, please.

Not automated, but the support is usually very helpful, just write them a mail at support@mwomercs.com - they can see that a sale is active and when you bought something.

Such a nice sale with the mechs most used by the community: heavies It just falls in order with both near to end events.

Just a few days to make important spending decisions (bye bye MC and most C-bills)

No problem! That's the way it has to be to capture the spirit of sales.
