Good for those who do not have it, I bought all variants including when the Pack was new. This would be just a sell and free Mechbay for me and I still got 12 empty.

You can get a camo for all Grasshoppers though if that interests you.

Yes! IS have these too!
For IS side of FP, the usual PPC poptart options are also: GHR-5P, and BJ-3.

As long as everyone's aware of the Ghost Heat issues, all will be well!
(Just do not put 7x Light-PPC in there and fire it all at once!!)

2HPPC + 5ML is probably my favourite for quick play, though in competitive use the 5ERLL is more common

It comes with 10% energy heat out of the box. Stack it together with full heat gen from the skill tree to bring it up to 20%. Also grab maximum cool run from the ops tree. Use an XL300 (GRH hitboxes and agility are super XL-friendly) and pack in 18 DHS. It can handle itself pretty well in trading situations, though like almost all midrange builds it can get out-sustained by push mechs.

best of all, in a close range brawl, you won't be using the HPPC's much due to minimum range. This cuts down on the urge to panic-overheat yourself. (Experience cuts down on it even more.)

That would be insanely hot.
As is that.. inferno mode roll out
The heat is actually fine, even if you fire the lasers after the ppcs. The problem is it's not able to defend itself at point blank and isn't fast enough to escape savvy players who wish to close the gap. Even worse, it's right at the bottom end for keeping up with NASCAR so it's easy to end up out of position. 3 ER-PPC Vapor Eagle is a more effective choice in my opinion.
I've not tried the laser vomit, because I don't think lasers are very good right now aside from IS MPLs, which work better on a faster chassis.
For a free 'Mech though you could do a lot worse.

That why i'm not a fan of most ppcs, terrible for brawling and most games at some point you need to.

do grasshoppers have ppc quirks? if they do thats fine, otherwise just go with the lasers. like mixed large/largepulse and ermeds such that it doesnt ever trip ghost heat on an alpha.
