Nobody cares why people quit the game but I just wanna know who else freed some space from their disk for the duration of this patch?

So post here if you're part of the uninstall gang.

Nah.

I've been playing with builds to see how things go and try it out. So far, regs Gauss (Clan and IS) and MASC are what really bug me. PPCs I'm messing with stuff but IMO if they want to increase damage and decrease heat per second thats fine, but the DPS should remain the same.

Gauss lasers builds were basically what I enjoyed the most during the last few months.

You can say that the patch is bad without invoking the "threatening to quit" trope.

You shoulda heard them cry when they first implemented ghost heat. Nobody was ever going to use PPCs again.

I like those too and like I said, I will continue to provide my constructive feedback about how non-heavy Gauss rifles need to be buffed more\

To be fair GH was a bit lazy solution but so were the 6ppc mechs a bit too silly for the time. People did adapt since GH didn't really nerf the potential of whatever was affected and those turbo alpha mechs turned their focus on sustain, for ex. stalker from 6 to 4 ppc.

Now the adaptation will basically be to stop using the stuff that went from rekt status to b***gore dot com status

I would uninstall, but with the upcoming PTS, I don't want to redownload again.

If you haven't taken part in previous PTS sessions, it's a different install base completely so it doesn't matter what you end up doing. That's also something I'm looking forward to. So weird that they decided to run today's patch on the public servers, while they are preparing completely different changes for a PTS. Makes me feel they have no respect towards the player.

upcoming PTS? who’s stream or podcast do I have to watch now to get this kind of information? Seems like our dear community manager does not have the guts to show up on the forums anymore.

Heard it first from Ash, then checked NGNGtv for the stream. I think it's also mentioned here:

But yeah, I think they are too afraid to show their faces.

Daeron and Matt are in fact aware of how terrible the patch were, but despite that they still went through with it.

It's an illuminating fact that they would rather have the player base endure a month of horrible balance just because bureaucracy, or someone's fe-fe will get hurt. This **** is why I don't have any delusions of revitalizing MWO like the devs have.

You know the adage "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"? At this point, it's really my fault for being disappointed when expecting something good from PGI.

They are NEVER going to learn.

I like PPC changes those are good for most part guass not so much like that less MASC changes do suck balls. AC changes good work great with PPC now for front load damage. It's a mixed bag
